Due to the inhibitory effect of tyrosinase enzyme by Mazo, this study was performed with the aim of formulation to investigate the physicochemical properties of Maso mask (Quercus infectoria Oliv.) for the treatment of melasma. Method: The plant extract was prepared by hot massage method using 80% ethanol for 72 hours. The spectrum was taken with a UV device and the maximum absorption wavelength was determined and used for the next steps. Formulations made in three different refrigerated environments, 40 °C oven and room were examined for appearance over a period of 6 months. Stability was assessed at weeks 0, 1, 4, 8, 12 and 24 and the remaining extract was measured. Frazn Diffusion Cell was used to evaluate the amount and speed of drug release from the formulation. Which is a valid laboratory method. Results: The maximum absorption (maxλ) of the standard curve of Mazo extract was equal to 280 nm wavelength, which was measured by UV method. Considering the appearance in terms of consistency and more suitable appearance, Formulation 3 was selected as the selected formulation and had the best ratio of components. The physical stability of the formulation was investigated at three room temperatures, refrigerated oven. According to the results, in terms of appearance, color and consistency of the refrigerator formulation was more stable than other temperatures (environments). The best environment in terms of stability was the amount of extract at refrigerator temperature, with most mazo extract remaining after 6 months. The release of mazo extract from the formulation shows that the maximum release was reached at 4 o'clock and since then it has been a pellet state. Conclusion: According to the results obtained during the research, the prepared formulation has suitable properties, but to maintain its stability, it should be stored in the refrigerator.
