Bu çalışmanın amacı belediye çalışanlarında yaşam doyumunun iş doyumuüzerindeki etkisinde sosyal zekanın aracılık etkisini belirlemektir. Kolaydaörnekleme yöntemine göre Giresun merkez ve çeşitli ilçe belediyelerdeçalışanlara anket yapılarak elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Giresun merkezve çeşitli ilçe belediyelerde çalışan toplam 255 çalışan ankete katılmış, hatalı veeksik olanlar elendikten sonra 252 ankete analiz uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılardandemografik etkenlerle ilgili 9, yaşam doyumuyla ilgili 5, iş doyumuyla ilgili 14ve sosyal zeka ile ilgili 21 ifadeyi cevaplamaları istenilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerSPSS 24 programı, Amos 24 programı ve Process makrosu kullanılarak analizedilmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda yaşam doyumunun, iş doyumu vesosyal zeka üzerinde; sosyal zekanın iş doyumu üzerinde pozitif etkisininolduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, yaşam doyumunun iş doyumuüzerindeki etkisinde sosyal zekanın kısmi aracılık etkisinin olduğu görülmüştür.The aim of this study is to determine the mediating effect of social intelligenceon the effect of life satisfaction on job satisfaction in municipal employees.According to the easy sampling method, the data obtained by surveying theemployees in Giresun center and various district municipalities were analyzed. Atotal of 255 employees from Giresun center and various district municipalities participated in the questionnaire, and after to be eliminated to incorrect andincomplete questionnaires and then 252 questionnaires were analyzed.Participants were asked to respond to 9 demographic factors, 5 about lifesatisfaction, 14 about job satisfaction, and 21 statements on social intelligence.The data were analyzed by using SPSS 24 program, Amos 24 program andProcess macro. As a result of regression analysis there is positive effect on lifesatisfaction, job satisfaction and social intelligence and also determined positiveand meaningful effect on social intelligence and job satisfaction too. As a resultof the study, it was observed that social intelligence had a partial mediatingeffect on the effect of life satisfaction on job satisfaction
