In this study, the relationship between depression and bronchial asthma is studied and explained throughout the triple system of response. In order to do this, Tridimensional Questionnaire for Depression C.T.D. (Jiménez, Miguel- Tobal y Cano-Vindel,1996), has been used. Questionnaire which not only offers a general measure of depression but it offers for the first time measures intriple system of response (cognitive, physiological and motor). Through this instrument, highly significative differences between a group of asthmatic adults and a control group compared regarding age and sex have been found. According to our data asthmatics are more depressed than control group.En el presente trabajo se estudia y explica la relación entre depresión y asma bronquial, ofreciendo datos de dicha relación a través del triple sistema de respuesta. Para tal fin, se ha utilizado el Cuestionario Tridimensional para la Depresión C.T.D. (Jiménez, Miguel-Tobal y Cano Vindel,1996), cuestionario que ofrece una medida general de depresión y ofrece por primera vez medidas de depresión en el triple sistema de respuesta (cognitivo, fisiológico y motor).
