The distribution of numerous species is imperfectly known and anynew information is worth publishing. The autors had the opportunity of examiningsome unidentified cydnid materials deposited in the Hungarian Natural HistoryMuseum, Budapest. The majority of the specimens was collected in the OrientalRegion; however, and some additional material from New Guinea – usually con-sidered to belong to the Australian Region – has also been identified.
