This document describes the design of an automatic matching network control system used to solve some impedance matching problems.
All current matching networks are driven in half-automatic way, so they do not allow providing real-time matching between transmission system and antenna.
The antenna impedance’s study and the impedance measurement methods analysis, allow to realize a device that provides an automatic and adaptive antenna impedance matching.
The realized prototype includes two output interfaces, one for communication with the transmitter and one for the Automatic Tuning Unit (ATU)
