Interview with Lilit Yoo

Abstract

Lilit Yoo is a Korean-Canadian woman who recently became a U.S. citizen. She first came to the U.S. as a graduate student to study at the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University. Her ceremony to become a U.S. citizen was actually done during the time of the pandemic, which meant it was different than what is traditionally done. The Auntie Sewing Squad was the first nation-wide organization that Lilit Yoo has ever joined.https://digitalcommons.csumb.edu/auntiesewing_interviews/1008/thumbnail.jp
