Biographies  David Brill has won many violin competitions, both domestic and international. In 2018, David placed first in the senior division of the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, Vienna, Austria, and was invited to perform as a soloist at the Musikverein in Vienna.  In 2018, he won first prize in the senior division at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition in the strings category, and gave his solo debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 2, 2018. David currently studies violin performance with Professor Carol Cole at Lynn University Conservatory of Music.  A solo pianist, teacher, chamber musician and a church organist, Feruza Dadabaeva is currently pursuing her second Master’s degree in Collaborative piano at Lynn University under the tutelage of Professor Lisa Leonard. In 2016 and 2018 Ms. Dadabaeva was a recipient of the special jury prize for Best Orchestral Realization at the Lynn University Concerto competition. Also, she won the Lyric Chamber Music Competition at Lynn and had her New York Debut in May 2019. In the summer of 2017 she became the third prize winner of the Cremona International Piano Competition where she was awarded best Bach and Romantic performances. She also completed a three week program in Cremona. In 2006, Ms. Dadabaeva competed at International Piano Competition in Italy (Salerno) where she received  third prize. Feruza began playing piano at 5 years of age, when she studied at Musical Academic Lyceum in Tashkent. During her formative years and through adolescence, she received several notable accolades. In 2007, Feruza entered the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and since then exhibited strong solo performance as well as accompanying. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelors of Music Degree in Piano Performance. Feruza earned her Masters in Music at Florida Atlantic University where she studied under the tutelage of Dr. Irena Kofman. Since then, she attended an International Piano Festival at Palm Beach Atlantic University and won the FAU Concerto Competition in 2014. In 2016 Ms Dadabaeva was invited to join Florida Atlantic University's faculty as an adjunct professor where she currently works.  Georgiy Khokhlov was born on the 12th of October 1992 to a musical family in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He began playing cello at the age of 7 at the Uspensky Music School. Mr. Khokhlov earned his Bachelor of Music degree at the Mannes Conservatory in New York City under the tutelage of Marcy Rosen while spending his summers at various musical festivals such as Bowdoin, NYSMF, and Garth Newel Emerging Artists Chamber Program. He also has taken part in contemporary music festival New Music at the Point in Vermont. Since completing his studies in New York City, he’s studied at the Peabody Conservatory with Alan Stepansky and has since earned his Masters at the Lynn Conservatory in the David Cole studio. Georgiy plays on an 1879 Herman Macklett cello.  Violinist Askar Salimdjanov is the 2018 winner of the Lyric Chamber Music Competition which presented him and pianist Feruza Dadabaeva in their New York debut in May 2019 on the Lyric Chamber Series at the Kosciusko Foundation. In 2019 Askar won fourth in the John Olivera string competition as well as Lynn Concerto Competition. Mr. Salimdjanov has performed as soloist with Lynn Philharmonia Orchestra, the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra, State Conservatory Orchestra of Uzbekistan and additional chamber orchestras under the batons of K.Usmanov V. Neymer, K.Urinbaev, A.Paris, and E. Azimov and Guillermo Figueroa. He has given solo and chamber recitals in Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Singapore, Israel, and the United States. A laureate of the 6th International Competition of Young Performers in Moscow (2009), he was also a finalist of the 2nd Yankelevitch International Violin Competition (2011), winner of international competitions in Ukraine and Italy (2009), and laureate of Vladimir Spivakov’s International Music Festival in Moscow (2010). Askar attended the Keshet Eilon Mastercourse (Israel) in 2016 and 2018, the Singapore Violin Festival 2016, 2017, and the Heifetz International Music Institute in 2017 (USA). Askar received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore where he studied with distinguished concert violinist Qian Zhou. Mr. Salimdjanov began his training at age 7 attending the V. Uspenskiy Special Music School for Gifted Children in Tashkent, Uzbekistan as a student of Gulnara Suleymanova. Askar has participated in masterclasses with David Takeno, Takashi Shimizu, Valeriy Sokolov, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ilya Kaler, Rosa Fain, Hagai Shaham, Eduard Grach, Silvia Marcovici, Gabor Nagy Takacs, Midori Goto, Tang Quartet, Victor Tretyakov, Emerson Quartet, Levon Ambartsumian, Hagen Quartet, Borromeo Quartet, Boris Kuschnir, and Pierre Amoyal. Askar is currently pursuing his Professional Performance Certificate under the guidance of renowned violinist Elmar Oliveira at the Lynn Conservatory of Music.  Xiaoxiao Wang, a native of China, started playing piano at the tender age of five, studying under Kaihua Jin. She then continued her studies at the prestigious Tianjin Conservatory of Music and Art, at both the primary and secondary level until 2016, studying with Wanqi Feng and Alexey Sokolov. Some of her most notable achievements include receiving the Gold Prize at the Fifth Annual Russian International Classical Festival in 2009, first place at the Beijing Hope Piano Competition in 2010, first place in the Taiwan Victory Piano Competition in 2011 and second place at the Poland International Children’s genius piano competition that same year. Xiaoxiao has enriched audiences both locally and internationally. She was a soloist recipient three times at the Perugia Summer Festival in Italy in 2014, 2015 and 2016, performing with the festival orchestra. Wang was also a featured guest artist participating in the Child Aid Concert in Singapore in 2010. Xiaoxiao shows artistic versatility as an accomplished harpist. Having begun learning the harp in middle school, she performed both piano and harp with the China Europe Youth Orchestra (CEYO) in France at age fifteen. Xiaoxiao is currently a senior at Lynn Conservatory of Music, studying piano performance in the studio of Dr. Roberta Rust. And since coming to Florida, has performed at the Wold Performing Arts Center and Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall in Boca Raton and at the Harriet Himmel Theatre at City Place in West Palm Beach.  Thomas Wong, from Boston MA, has a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is currently getting his Master of Music from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.  His teachers include Ralph Fielding, Roger Myers, and Andrew Kohji Taylor. Thomas has also participated in the National Orchestral Institute and the National Repertory Orchestra.                       About the Friends of the Conservatory of Music Lynn University’s Friends of the Conservatory of Music is a volunteer organization that supports high quality music education through fundraising and community outreach. Raising more than $2 million since 2003, the Friends support Lynn’s effort to provide free tuition scholarships and room and board to all Conservatory of Music students. The group also raises money for the Dean’s Discretionary Fund, which supports the immediate needs of the university’s music performance students. Jon Robertson, dean Lynn Conservatory of Music  Jamaican-born maestro Jon Robertson enjoys a distinguished career as a pianist, conductor and academician. He began his piano studies with Ethel Leginska at 7 years old and made his Town Hall debut in New York City at age 10. A graduate of The Juilliard School of Music, he studied piano performance under Beveridge Webster, choral conducting with Abraham Kaplan at Juilliard, orchestral conducting with Richard Pittman of the New England Conservatory of Music and Herbert Blomstedt, former director of the Gweandhaus Orchestra (Germany). His conducting career spans the globe from symphony orchestras in Norway, China, Egypt, South Africa and Austria to the Redlands Symphony Orchestra in California, where he was principal conductor from 1982 until his retirement in 2016. Robertson is former chair of the Herb Alfred School of Music at UCLA. He continues to guest-conduct and perform in concert as a member of the Cole-Robertson Trio.
