The present issue is the second of two volumes describing some of the work related to the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River ecosystem. These issues have been prepared in conjunction with our St. Lawrence River-Lake Ontario (SLRLO) Research Initiative which is organizing research teams to improve understanding of these linked systems and their relationships and to support the Lake Ontario Lakewide Management Plan and the restoration and protection of the St. Lawrence River.
