The cases of men in situations of domestic violence in Brazil have grown expressively with the passage of time; however, the confrontation does not take the same proportions. The present study is an analysis of the mutations suffered in the historic process of society, which triggered the expression of violence where the man plays the role of victim and not of tormentor, a role it had not played the same way in ancient societies, where man was always seen as the aggressor, oppressor and exploiter. But with the evolution of women rights and the loss of identity tied to masculine virility, it has been notorious the multiple ways that appeared to classify the aggressor agent in contemporaneity, if on one side the family arrangements suffered several modifications, on the other hand these changes influenced the behavior of the social being in society. Nowadays with new familiar arrangements, domestic violence is influenced by power relations, and no longer by gender relations, by the binarism man x woman mediated by biology, where man is always placed in the position of aggressor. In articles, periodicals, theses and studies in general, we can easily find material about domestic violence suffered by women, the academic discussion along the entire formation of a Social Worker is vast and ample, events, seminars, congresses, innumerable forms to engage, discuss, dialogue and insert in society the woman victim of domestic violence, also starting from the legal point of view, the ways of protecting the woman as a victim are varied. In the legal sphere, there are slight changes, such as the interpretation of some judges to judge the cases of men in situation of domestic violence, and the recognition of the need for real protective measures to protect the safety of men. We aim to obtain analysis of domestic violence against men in Brazil in light of the socio-legal support and protective measures, identifying the main expressions of domestic violence that affect men in Brazil, we analyze the socio-legal protection and the protective measures to men victim of domestic violence and verify the actual forms of coping with violence against men, which practically do not exist.Os casos de homens em situação de violência doméstica no Brasil têm crescido expressivamente com o decorrer do tempo, entretanto, o seu enfrentamento não toma as mesmas proporções. O presente estudo é uma análise das mutações sofridas no processo histórico da sociedade que desencadearam na expressão da violência onde o homem exerce o papel de vítima e não de algoz, figura que nas sociedades antigas não desempenhava da mesma forma, onde sempre foi observado o homem como agressor, opressor e explorador mas com a evolução dos direitos femininos e da perda de identidade atrelada a virilidade masculina, foi notória as múltiplas formas que surgiram para classificar o agente agressor na contemporaneidade, se por um lado os arranjos familiares sofreram diversas modificações, por outro lado essas modificações influenciaram no comportamento do ser social em sociedade. Atualmente com os novos arranjos familiares a violência doméstica passa a ser influenciada pelas relações de poder, e não mais pelas relações de sexo, pelo binarismo homem x mulher mediado pela biologia, onde o homem sempre foi colocado na posição de agressor. Nos artigos, periódicos, teses e estudos em geral podemos encontrar facilmente material acerca da violência doméstica sofrida por mulheres, a discussão na academia durante toda a formação de um Assistente Social é ampla e vasta, eventos, seminários, congressos, inúmeras formas de abordar, discutir, dialogar e inserir em sociedade a mulher vítima da violência doméstica, partindo também para o âmbito jurídico, são variadas as formas de proteção que encontramos para a mulher enquanto vítima. No âmbito jurídico ocorre leves mudanças, como a interpretação de alguns juízes para julgar casos de homens em situação de violência doméstica e o reconhecimento da necessidade de medidas protetivas reais para resguardar a incolumidade do homem. Objetivamos obter análise da violência doméstica contra homens no Brasil à luz do suporte sócio-jurídico e das medidas protetivas, identificando as principais expressões de violência doméstica que acometem homens no Brasil, analisamos a proteção sócio-jurídica e as medidas protetivas ao homem vítima da violência doméstica e verificamos as atuais formas de enfrentamento da violência contra homens, que praticamente inexistem
