This paper had as na aim to analyze the curricular practices in the quilombola
Education in the “Escola Municipal Ovídio Tavares de Morais”, located in Mituaçu
in the city of Conde - Paraíba. This paper had another objectives: Analyzing if the
curricular practices of the school is based on the context of the public policies of
Quilombola Education; Analyzing the Pedagogical Political Project with the
purpose of understanding if it is oriented to the specificities of the local community.
Observing the curriculum in action, oriented to the Quilombola Education having
as focus the pedagogical practices developed in the classroom. Our concerns
intend to answer the following questions: Is there a curriculum oriented to
Quilombola Education? What are the dificulties found by the teachers and
students of that community? As methodology, we use: questionnaires, structured
interviews and observation in the classroom, our research was conducted during
the five meetings in the school, the meetings had as an aim: the observation,
raising data, the analysis of the methodologies and curricular practices used in the
classroom. After the methodologies we could answer our concerns. Throughout
this research, we used the official documents, laws, decree and observations on
site, we concluded that in a general way the school meets partially the
requirements the documents oriented to the quilombola Education.Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as práticas curriculares na educação
quilombola na Escola Municipal Ovídio Tavares de Morais, situada em Mituaçu no
Município de Conde - Paraíba. Tendo como objetivos específicos: analisar se as
práticas curriculares da escola estão embasadas no contexto das políticas
públicas de Educação Quilombola; analisando o Projeto Político Pedagógico no
intuito de entender se este é voltado para as especificidades da comunidade local.
Observar o currículo em ação, voltados para a Educação Quilombola tendo como
foco as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas em sala de aula. Nossas
inquietações pretendem responder os seguintes questionamentos: Existe na
escola um currículo voltado para a Educação Quilombola? Quais são as
dificuldades encontradas pelos educadores e educandos daquela localidade?
Como metodologia utilizamos: questionários, entrevistas estruturadas e
observação em sala de aula, nossa pesquisa foi realizada durante cinco
encontros a escola, os encontros tiveram como objetivo: a observação,
levantamento de dados, análise das metodologias e as práticas curriculares
utilizadas em sala de aula. Para posteriormente respondermos as nossas
inquietações. Ao longo desta pesquisa, através dos documentos, leis, decretos e
observações in loco analisamos que a escola de um modo geral atende
parcialmente aos documentos norteadores para uma Educação Quilombola
