The article sheds light on two meanings of lightness, which Nietzsche places in mutual contrast: the superficial lightness of modern man, who, weak and exhausted, only needs to shake off the weight of life, and the lightness of a Nietzschean man who, like a god or a Greek hero, moves lightly because he knows how to easily drag heavy weights.
