In follow-up to our recent state-of-the-art review on running published in the November 2015 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, 1 we have additional data regarding the relationship of high-dose running with prognosis. Clearly, observational studies have recently reported that leisure-time running provides mortality benefits.
