Digital Preservation: Issues and Challenges

Abstract

The paper takes stock of various preservation problems and challenges laced by different types of digital materials to ensure permanent accessibility of resources by present and litturf.: generations. It argues that digital preservation poses challenges fundamentally different from the traditional materials mainly due to varied and complex nature of digital resources.
