Edgar Allan Poe es una de las más grandes figuras de la literatura norteamericana y universal, considerado, además, padre del relato policial moderno. Por la trascendencia y vitalidad de su obra, se pretende un acercamiento, desde los planos ideotemático, estilístico y compositivo, a tres de los cuentos más conocidos: El corazón delator, El gato negro y El tonel de amontillado. Asimismo, enfatizaremos en las características de su método de creación, matizado por las peripecias vitales del autor.

For the transcendency and vitality of his work, is to approach, from the ideothematic, stylistic and compositional plans, three of the most popular stories: The tell-tale heart, The black cat and The cask of amontillado. They also emphasized the characteristics of his method of creation, qualified by the author's life adventures
