Abstract

The Metropolite of Kharkov Nikodim as an Autor of Offices. The paper presents the hymnic works composed by one of the most famous hierarchs of the Ukrainian Church under the Patriarchate of Moscow, Nikodim (Rusnak), the Metropolite of Kharkov and Bogodukhovo. The author outlines the Metropolite's work in Church Slavonic language. The most important among them are the services for St. Paisij Velichkovski, St. Peter Mohila, St. Siluan the Athonite and for the New Martyrs - the victims of the Soviet repressions in his Diocese
