Abstract
This is a descriptive study conducted with the aim of examining the relationships between variables of internet addiction among high school students and some of the individual variables and subjective well-being. The study group consists of 794 (335 male, 459 female) students attending to 9th, 10th, 11th and twelfth grade General, Science, Anatolia and Vocational High Schools in the spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year in the district of the city of Manisa. Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) was used to determine the level of internet addiction and Adolescents' Subjective Well-Being Scale (ASWS) utilized to determine the level of subjective well-being. The data about student characteristics were gathered by using the Personal Information Form (PIF) developed by the researcher.Bu araştırma, lise öğrencilerinde internet bağımlılığı ile öznel iyi oluş ve bazı bireysel değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek amacıyla yapılan betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma grubunu 2011–2012 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Manisa merkez ilçesinde bulunan Genel Lise, Fen, Anadolu ve Meslek Liselerinin 9., 10., 11. ve 12. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 794 (335 erkek, 459 kız) öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada internet bağımlılık düzeyini belirlemek için İnternet Bağımlılık Ölçeği (İBÖ) ve öznel iyi oluş düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla Ergen Öznel İyi Oluş Ölçeği (EÖİOÖ) kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin niteliklerine ilişkin veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) ile toplanmıştır
