U ovom radu pregledat ćemo detaljnije najistaknutije tipove predsjedničkog sustava u svijetu općenito. U prvom dijelu, prikazat ćemo kao prvo općenito ustroj vlasti i karakteristike ustroja vlasti. Nadalje, u nastavko vidjet ćemo načelo diobe i načelo jedinstva vlasti. Središnji dio rada prikazat će jedan od najdelikatnijih predsjedničkih institucija, odnosno Sjedinjene Američke Države. Završni dio rada prikazat ćemo sustav vlasti u Republici Hrvatskoj te ćemo obraditi detaljnije samu instituciju predsjednika republike.In this paper we will review in more detail the most prominent type of presidential system in the world in general. In the first part, we will show the general structure of government and its characteristics. Furthermore, below we will see the principle of the separation and the principle of the unity of the government. The central part of the work will show one of the most delicate of the presidential institution, the United States of America. The final part of the article will show the system of government in the Republic of Croatia and will be showned in detail the very institution of the President of the Republic
