The lubricating oils and post-consumer packaging are considered dangerous goods according to
ABNT NBR 10.004, since these are disposed improperly into the environment causing
environmental impacts, as the resolution CONAMA no 362/2005. In this sense, the reverse
logistics comes with a tool for sustainable development that seeks to reinsert the waste in the
production chain, in order to add value to these materials from the PCR process. Thus, the present
research aimed to analyze and describe the process of reverse logistics in a fuel filling station
located in the city of Alagoinhas, Bahia. However, the study is considered to be of a qualitative
nature, in which, through a technical visit and application of a questionnaire, it was possible to
gather information regarding the waste disposal of trade of lubricating oils. Through the results,
it was possible to show that the post carries out the collection of used lubricating oil and
contaminated, noting that the establishment meets the majority of the laws established by
environmental agencies, however it has been seen that the company does not provide the proper
disposal of contaminated containers, these being dumped in the trash, along with residual oil
resulting from exchanges of lubricating oils.Os óleos lubrificantes e suas embalagens pós-consumo são considerados produtos perigosos
segundo ABNT NBR 10.004, uma vez que estes são descartados de maneira inadequada no meio
ambiente provocando impactos ambientais, conforme a Resolução CONAMA no 362/2005. Nesse
sentido, a Logística Reversa surge com uma ferramenta de desenvolvimento sustentável que
busca reinserir esses resíduos na cadeia produtiva, de forma a agregar valor a esses materiais
provenientes do processo de pós-consumo. Deste modo, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo
analisar e descrever o processo da Logística Reversa em um posto de abastecimento de
combustível localizado na cidade de Alagoinhas, Bahia. Contudo, o estudo é considerado de
cunho qualitativo, no qual, através de uma visita técnica e aplicação de um questionário, foi
possível colher informações referentes ao descarte dos resíduos provenientes das trocas dos óleos
lubrificantes. Por meio dos resultados, foi possível evidenciar que o posto realiza a coleta do óleo
lubrificante usado e contaminado, constatando ainda que o estabelecimento atende a maioria das
legislações estabelecidas pelos órgãos ambientais, entretanto foi visto que a empresa não
proporciona a devida destinação das embalagens contaminadas, sendo estas despejadas no lixo
comum, juntamente com o óleo residual resultante das trocas dos óleos lubrificantes.São Cristóvão, S
