The aim of this paper is to read Prior’s paper: Arthur N. (1940): ‘TheAnalogy of Faith’, in order to see to what extent it offers some productiveinsights into Prior’s view on logic. Our paper suggests that by viewingThe Analogy of Faith, in this light Prior’s considerations on ‘the logic ofthe Word of God’ constitutes a novel and still unexplored way of makingsense of the idea of the analogy of faith. Furthermore, it also suggests thatPrior’s later achievements in Logic has its origin in his early theologicalthinking
