Abstract

The flavin adenine dinucleotide dependent glucose dehydrogenase (FAD-GDH; EC 1.1.5.9) comprises oxidoreductases that catalyze the initial oxidation of glucose and other sugar molecules, using FAD as the primary electron acceptor.
