An Analysis of Sea & Air Transport Freight in Busan Area

Abstract

As Korea has the economic structure heavily depending on exporting commodities, the importance of both the maritime and air transportation is significant. Accordingly, both the freight transportation market needs to be developed as an independent and complementary one. This paper, therefore, aims at analysing the commodities transported by the mode in terms of unit price, freight charge bearability and price structure.
