Implementación de un Sistema de Riego por Goteo en la Granja Experimental de Agroempresas de la Universidad San Francisco de Quito en Puembo- Pichincha
A drip irrigation system gives us wáter and fertilizer saving on one hand, and on the other hand allows us to increase the production of Strawberry in the study. The objetive of this study is to design and implement a drip irrigation system for strawberries and other crops in the farm of the “San Francisco de Quito” Universersity, with adequate water supply and under automatic control in the closing and opening of the valves.
Base don data taken,and watching the need of the crop,we considered the following parameters: Emitter flow rate of 1.30 1/h, two drip hoses by bed, with a distance between rows of 1 meter,and the dripper every 30 cm. Effective daily required blade is 5.50 mm. It is estimated to get a 95% efficiency of the irrigation system.
