THE CHARACTER VALUES IN TRADITIONAL GAME GOBAK SODOR FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Abstract

Traditional children game (folk game) is one of the nation's cultural assets are very important and closely related to psychological functioning of child development. Gobak Sodor traditional games played in groups, each group consisting of 3 to 5 people. At SDN 02 curug Badak, kabupaten lebak Banten, the game has become one of the local content.This study uses a qualitative approach, the subjects in this study were 40 children at SDN 02 cibadak. The location of study at Lebak Banten. The object of study is the traditional game Gobak Sodor. The technique of collecting data has been done with documentation, observation and interviewing of children who are asked to play a game gobak Sodor.
