Розглянуто проблемні питання герметичності підземних сховищ газу (ПСГ) та існуючі методи контролю за їх герметичністю. Для цих потреб запропоновано нові види приповерхневих газогеохімічних досліджень, які випробовувалися на різних типах ПСГ та газових родовищах, способи проведення яких захищені
патентами на винахід. Наведено окремі результати виконаних досліджень. Даються рекомендації щодо
основних напрямків використання запропонованих нових видів приповерхневих газогеохімічних досліджень.The issues of integrity of underground gas storage facilities (UGSF) and existing techniques for its control are
considered in this article. The new kinds of subsurface gas-geochemical researches, which were tested at different
types of underground storage facilities and gas fields, were developed. The methods for carrying them out are
patented. Some data of these researches are provided. Recommendations on the main directions of utilization of the
suggested new kinds of gas-geochemical researches are made
