Dissertação de Mestrado Integrado em Arquitetura, com a especialização em Arquitetura apresentada na Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa para obtenção do grau de Mestre.Observando a cidade de Lisboa torna-se evidente a singular morfologia que a define. Fortemente marcada pela sua estrutura natural, desenvolve-se sobre acentuados declives que se estendem até ao Rio Tejo, proporcionando-lhe constante valor cénico.
Distingue-se, nos vales drenantes, a possibilidade de dar continuidade à Estrutura Verde da urbe, sobressaindo aqui a linha de água que outrora serpeou os vales do Rio Seco. Tal afluente permanece no imaginário do lugar, ainda que se encontre atualmente encanado e subterrado sobre múltiplas camadas asfálticas. Paralelamente, tomam-se os mantos rochosos que envolvem o vale como elemento identitário do lugar, destacando o vale no conjunto da cidade.
Maturando tais premissas projeta-se um Parque Natural, que visa a renaturalização dos vales, estabelecendo ligação entre o Parque Florestal de Monsanto e o Estuário do Rio Tejo e incorporando, deste modo, o corredor verde pensado pelo arquiteto Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles.
Surge ainda a oportunidade de explorar o, inigualável, valor cenográfico presente no afloramento rochoso, incentivando a compreensão do exercício das artes cénicas ao longo da sua evolução. Deste modo, projeta-se no interior do Geomonumento, procurando o potencial cenográfico enraizado na sua tectónica. A proposta consiste na construção de vazios cénicos que acolhem a expressão humana contida nas artes performativas.
Assim, e impulsionado pela estrutura do Parque, projeta-se a criação de momentos cénicos de permanência, que visam consolidar o tecido urbano fragmentado que o envolve mantendo um diálogo permanente entre o Parque e a Cidade.ABSTRACT: Observing the city of Lisbon, the distinct morphology that defines the city becomes obvious. Strongly marked by its natural structure, it unfolds over steep slopes that reach all the way to the Tejo River, conferring a constant scenographic value to the landscape.
In the draining valleys, there is a very present and palpable possibility of giving continuity to the Green Structure of Lisbon, with emphasis on the waterway that meanders through the valleys of the Rio Seco. This affluent, still remains in the imaginary of this place, even if channeled and buried under multiple layers of asphalt. In a parallel manner, the geologic substract become alive and attribute identity and singularity to this place, gracefully highlight the valley in the whole of the city.
Maturing such premises, a project of a Natural Park is created to re-naturalize the valleys, establishing a connection between the Parque Florestal de Monsanto and the Rio Tejo Estuary, incorporating in this way, the green corridor projected by the architect Ribeiro Telles, as well as the opportunity to explore the unequaled scenic value that is found in the present outcrop, incentivizing the comprehension of the exercise of scenic arts along its path. It is projected in this way within the Geomonument, looking for the scenic potential embedded in its tectonic nature. The proposal consists in the construction of empty scenic spaces that embrace the human expression contained in the performing arts.
Finally, and driven by the Park’s structure, the creation of permanent scenic moments is projected, that aim to consolidate the fragmented urban tissue that involves the Park, maintaining a permanent dialogue between the Park and the City.N/
