Tato studie se zabývá historickým poválečným vývojem na Chebsku v letech
1945 – 1947. Je zaměřena především na podrobné přiblížení vysídlení početné
skupiny obyvatelstva německé národnosti z Chebu a blízkého okolí a jeho následnému
osidlování. V práci bylo použito biografické metody a klasického orálně historického
postupu. Skrze výpovědi pamětníků lze získat na studovanou problematiku nový
náhled, který je zaměřen především na postavení a chování jedince v dané historické
události.This study deals with the historical post-war development in the Cheb region
in the years 1945 - 1947. It is focused on detailed description of expulsion of large
group of the German population from Cheb and the surrounding area. The work has
used biographical method and method of classical oral history. Through the testimony
of witnesses a new point of view has been obtained on this issue. This point of view
focuses primarily on the status and behavior of individuals in this historic event
