The 1932 Ban Perović’s Villa in Rab by Architect Egon Steinmann

U članku se analizira nekadašnja vila bana Savske banovine Ive Perovića, koja je izgrađena 1932. godine prema projektu arhitekta Egona Steinmanna u povijesnoj jezgri grada Raba, danas poznata kao ‘banova’ vila (Gornja ulica 21). Svojim izrazito bogatim tradicionalnim i stilskim arhitektonskim izrazom vila se razlikuje od većine suvremenih Steinmannovih međuratnih realizacija javnih zgrada u Zagrebu.The paper presents an analysis of the villa that used to belong to the ban (governor) of Savska banovina (province), Ivo Perović, and which is known today as ”ban’s villa” (21 Upper Street). It was designed by architect Egon Steinmann and built in 1932 in the historic centre of Rab. Its traditional architectural style differentiates it from the majority of Steinmann’s interwar public buildings built in Zagreb

Analysis of the geometry of the cultural heritage object from the terrestrial laser scanning data

On the selected case (the belfry in village Črni kal, Slovenia) the analysis of data about terrestial laser\ud scanning with a view to graphically and numerically determined nonverticality and other possible deformations\ud of the belfry is carried out. Data acquired with a terrestrial laser scanner has been provided\ud by 3D ATA Ltd. Data analysis was conducted with a program Geomagic, and a program AutoCAD\ud has been used to draw horizontal planes. The point cloud was imported into the program Geomagic\ud Studio which was used for further analyzes. We carried out four methods of determination the geometry\ud of the belfry: we determined the parameters of planes outer walls of the belfry; we determined the\ud angle of inclination from the vertical (according to the line between the center of the apple and the\ud center of the lower plane and the angle of inclination from the vertical line to elevation levels); we\ud determined the horizontal planes at elevation levels (together 14 levels) and compare plan views of the\ud corner points; we searched the fit of the belfry to different geometric shapes. In the first analysis we\ud have found that the belfry inclines differently in different directions. In second analysis we have found\ud that the angle of inclination from the vertical line of the belfry is 2°52'51'' (according to the line between\ud the center of the apple and the center of the lower plane) and overall angle of inclination from\ud the vertical line is 2°52'51'' (according to elevation levels). In the third analysis we have found that the\ud corner points of the belfry of the selected horizontal planes according to plan view do not show displacement,\ud the reason is in different lengths of the sides of the belfry. In fourth analysis we have\ud searched the fit of the points of the belfry to cylinder and cone/truncated cone. We compared the orientation\ud of shapes and normal of the planes with computed 2D distances. We have found that the deviations\ud are great on the total height of the belfry on each shape

Nova solinska bazilika - Skica idejnoga rješenja

Članak donosi pregled idejnoga rješenja oblikovanja liturgijskoga prostora buduće solinske bazilike odabrane kao najbolji rad na natječaju koji je u ožujku 2009. raspisala Splitsko-makarska nadbiskupija. Riječ je o interdisciplinarnome radu u kojem se susreću arhitektura i teologija u razmatranju i realizaciji liturgijskih formi. U prvome dijelu članka ukratko su ocrtana idejna polazišta te su razložene postavke i logika pristupa projektiranju. Drugi dio pokušava pružiti opisni presjek i hermeneutsku podlogu iščitavanju idejnoga projekta. Kroz tri naznačena okvira - »oblikovanje liturgijskih žarišta«, »opna forme« i »svjetlo i voda« -autori razrađuju nosive elemente arhitektonsko-liturgijskoga jezika te obrazlažu temeljne postavke idejnoga rješenja. Treći dio članka iznosi perspektive idejnoga rješenja
