Designing a Picture Book for Preschool Children

Istraživanje je bilo longitudinalno i neempirijsko, provedeno je metodama radom na dokumentaciji i intervjuiranjem djece dječjeg vrtića ''Sunčica'' iz Osijeka. U istraživanju je sudjelovao 1 odgojitelj i 22 djece. Iz istraživanja je nastao 51 rad od kojih su 28 ušli u analizu. Cilj istraživanja jest utvrditi imaju li ilustracije u slikovnici utjecaj na likovni izraz kod djece, kao i sviđa li im se više gledati ilustracije tijekom čitanja slikovnice ili ne. Predmet istraživanja u završnom radu je dječji likovni izraz. Paradigma istraživanja jest postpozitivistička jer su korištena 2 mjerna instrumenta, a to je rad na dokumentaciji, dječjim likovnim radovima prije i nakon pokazivanja ilustracija u slikovnici te intervjuiranje djece o načinu čitanja slikovnice i dostupnosti ilustracija tijekom istog te koju od ponuđenih dviju likovnih tehnika u ilustracijama radije vole vidjeti. Zaključak istraživanja kaže kako postoji utjecaj ilustracija u slikovnici na dječji likovni izraz te kako su djeca prvi dan istraživanja, kada im se nije pokazivala slikovnica, nacrtala prijevozna sredstva koja se navode u tekstu slikovnice. Djeca više preferiraju ilustracije u boji.The research was longitudinal and non-empirical. The methods used were: working on documentation and interviewing children from the kindergarten “Sunčica” in Osijek. One educator and 22 children were involved in this research. 51. piece of work was made during this research, 28 became part of the analysis. The objective of this research was to determine if illustrations in picture books can influence the artistic expression of children and if they like more to look at illustrations during reading or not. The case of this research is an artistic expression of children. The research paradigm is based on post positivism because we used two measuring instruments: working on documentation, children’s artistic work before and after showing them the illustrations in picture books and interviews with children about ways of reading picture books and the availability of illustrations and which out of two artistic techniques in illustrations do they like to see more. The conclusion of this research is that illustrations in picture books do influence the artist expression in children. Children drew transportation vehicles mentioned in the text of the picture book, although the picture book was not shown to them

Loops in the Sun’s orbit

Besides translation, spin around its axis and rotation around center of the Milky Way, the Sun performs relative motion in the solar system Laplacian plane, also. Namely, the Sun moves along the path composed of the chain of large and small loops [1, 2, 6, 9]. This chain is situated within the circular outline with the diameter approximately twice as large as the Sun’s is. Under supposition that the solar system is stable, the Sun is going to move along it, in the same region, for eternity, never reitereiting the same path. It was also shown in this work that velocity and acceleration of the Sun’s center of mass are completely defined by the relative velocities and accelerations of the planets with respect to the Sun

Od Platonove špilje do narcisoidnosti na društvenim mrežama

U ovom radu prikazana je vezu između poznate Platonove alegorije o špilji, koja je u osnovi kritika ljudi koji su zagledani u sjene, i suvremene zaokupljenosti narcizmom na društvenim mrežama i slikanjem sama sebe.Moderno društvo oblikovano je tehnološkim determinizmom te širenjem interneta i web 2.0 tehnologija u sve pore društva. Internet je precipiran kao alat koji će ljude osloboditi i izvesti na sunce iz Platonove špilje. No, suvremena zaokupljenost društvenim mrežama i fotografiranjem sama sebe nas dovodi do novog elementa, McLuhanove teze o hipnotičkom djelovanju tehnologije i percepciji društvenih mreža kao novog Narcisovog zrcala. U tom virtualnom svijetu ljudi su zarobljeni u obožavanju sama sebe, odnosno okupirani su pažnjom koju dobivaju od strane drugih korisnika u svojoj društvenoj mreži

AGRIFOOD INDUSTRY AS INDUSTRY INTENSIVELY BASED ON KNOWLEDGE - CASE STUDY OF VOJVODINA

During three-hundred-year history of the market economy, the main sources of wealth creation have changed from the natural resources (mainly land and relatively unskilled labor with the exception of the master craftsman), tangible material assets (buildings, machinery and equipment, funds) to intangible assets (knowledge and information of all types) that may be contained in the people, organizations, or physical resources. In the later period of the twentieth century, science has acquired the features of direct production force. The term direct implies that unlike the relationship which existed between science and production in the IXX century, where scientific advances was incorporated through the physical labor in the tools, which, in turn, created new value through the physical labor, the relationship between science and production has become all direct, immediate, because the scientific advances allowed the funds to be produced with less labor and allowed funds itself to become "smarter" and as such to require less human intervention and human physical labor in the final production process. As a result, the need for physical labor continuously declined with time, and the application of labor is moved from direct production to processes of preparing and organizing production. Resistivity due to a Domain Wall in Ferromagnetic Metal

The resistivity due to a domain wall in ferromagnetic metallic wire is calculated based on the linear response theory. The interaction between conduction electrons and the wall is expressed in terms of a classical gauge field which is introduced by the local gauge transformation in the electron spin space. It is shown that the wall contributes to the decoherence of electrons and that this quantum correction can dominate over the Boltzmann resisitivity, leading to a decrease of resisitivity by nucleation of a wall. The conductance fluctuation due to the motion of the wall is also investigated. The results are compared with recent experiments.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure

The influence of frequent topics and motifs on artistic expression of pre-school children

Likovnu kulturu u vrtićima možemo vidjeti svakodnevno, jer ona uvelike pridonosi razvoju djeteta kroz sve faze njegova života. Likovnu kulturu u vrtićima vidimo kroz planirane likovne aktivnosti, odnosno teme koje se provode tijekom tjedna. Uz te teme odabiremo i motive koji, ukoliko su učestaliji, mogu potaknuti šablonu u likovnom izrazu. U ovom radu cilj istraživanja bio je istražiti na koji način korištenje učestalih tema i motiva utječe na dječji likovni izraz, tj. hoće li se potaknuti pojava šablone s obzirom na odabir neke učestale teme i hoće li odabir motiva vršnjaka utjecati na odabir motiva djeteta. Istraživanje je provedeno u dva dijela. Prvi dio se odnosi na mišljenja odgojitelja o temama i motivima provedenim u vrtiću. U prvom dijelu istraživanja sudjelovao je 31 odgojitelj iz dva vrtića u Osijeku i jednog vrtića u Vinkovcima. Drugi dio istraživanja se odnosio na analiziranje radova koje su djeca slikala najdražom likovnom tehnikom na najučestaliju temu. Slikali su temu prirode sa temperom. Istraživanje je provedeno u starijoj odgojnoj skupini koju pohađa 18 djece (9 dječaka i 9 djevojčica) u dobi od pet do šest godina. Na dan istraživanja uvedeni su pitanjima u temu prirode koju su zatim slikali temperom.Art in kindergarten can be seen every day. Because it greatly contributes to the development of the child through all phases of his or her life. We see art in kindergarten through planned art activities or topics that have been conducted during the week. In addition to these topics, we choose the motifs which if they are frequent enough they can inspire the pattern in kids paintings. In this paper, the aim of my research was to explore how the use of frequent themes and motifs influence the child's artistic expression, ie. whether it will stimulate the appearance of a template with regard to choosing a frequent theme and whether the choice of peer motives affects the motivation of the child. The research was conducted in two parts, the first part of the research refers to the opinions of educators on topics and motives in the kindergarten. In the first part of the research 31 educator from two kindergartens in Osijek and one kindergarten in Vinkovci participated. The second part of the research focused on analysing children's paintings with the favourite art technique on the most frequent theme. They painted the nature with a temper. The research was conducted in an older preschool group attending 18 children (9 boys and 9 girls) aged five to six. Helenizam je način života koji se suprotstavlja židovstvu i njegovim kulturno-religijskim posebnostima. Te posebnosti negira i kršćanstvo. No helenizacija upravo pokazuje kako se kršćanstvo zbog toga promijenilo. Odmak od poganskog kulta ne pokazuje koegzistenciju judeo- i etnokršćana nego posebnost kršćanskog bogoštovlja.
