PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK PRODUK BARU DAN MEMORI IKLAN MEDIA TELEVISI TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN KONSUMEN MENGADOPSI DETERJEN ATTACK PLUS SOFTENER DI KOTA BOYOLALI
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh karakteristik produk baru dan
memori iklan media televisi terhadap keputusan konsumen mengadopsi deterjen Attack plus
Softener; 2) Pengaruh karakteristik produk baru terhadap keputusan konsumen mengadopsi
deterjen Attack plus Softener; 3) Pengaruh memori iklan media televisi terhadap keputusan
konsumen mengadopsi deterjen Attack plus Softener. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah:
1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara karakteristik produk baru dan memori iklan media
televisi dengan keputusan konsumen mengadopsi deterjen Attack plus Softener di Kota
Boyolali; 2) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara karakteristik produk baru dengan
keputusan konsumen mengadopsi deterjen Attack plus Softener; 3) Adanya pengaruh yang
signifikan antara memori iklan media televisi dengan keputusan konsumen mengadopsi
deterjen Attack plus Softener di Kota Boyolali.
Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang menggunakan produk
diterjen yang berdomisili di wilayah Kota Boyolali. Dalam penelitian ini ditentukan sampel
sebanyak 100 responden. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan
menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dimana peneliti mendapatkan responden
berdasarkan kemudahan untuk mengakses data. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah: uji
validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis regresi multiple, uji t, dan Koefisien Determinasi.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Hasil analisis regresi
dapat diketahui persamaan regresi: Y = 6,233 + 0,393X1 + 0,480X2. Artinya bahwa
karakteristik produk dan memori iklan berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan konsumen
untuk mengadopsi deterjen attact plus softener di Kota Boyolali; 2) Hasil uji t diketahui
bahwa uji t terlihat variabel upah (X1) mempunyai thitung sebesar 3,968, dengan nilai p
(0,000) < alpha (0,05), dan variabel memori iklan (X2) t hitung sebesar 6,604 dengan nilai p
(0,000) < alpha (0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik produk (X1) dan
memori iklan (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen untuk
mengadopsi deterjen attact plus aoftener di Kota Boyolali; 3) Hasil uji F diketahui Fhitung
dengan Ftabel, maka diketahui bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel (53,261), maka variabel independent (X1
dan X2) secara serentak Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya bahwa variabel independent
(karakteristik produk dan memori iklan) secara bersama-sama/simultan mempunyai pengaruh
yang signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen (Y) untuk mengadopsi deterjen attact dan
softener di Kota Boyolali; 4) Hasil uji koefisien determinasi diketahui nilai R2 sebesar 0,523.
Hal ini berarti bahwa 52,30% keputusan konsumen untuk mengadopsi deterjen attact plus
softener dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel independent (karakteristik produk dan
memori iklan) dan sisanya 47,70% diterangkan dalam penelitian ini. Dengan demikian bahwa
hipotesis yang penulis ajukan : bahwa variabel karakteristik produk dan memori iklan secara
parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen
untuk mengadopsi deterjen attact plus softener di Kota Boyolali”, dapat diterima
kebenarannya
Observations and models for needle-tissue interactions
The asymmetry of a bevel-tip needle results in the needle naturally bending when it is inserted into soft tissue. In this study we present a mechanics-based model that calculates the deflection of the needle embedded in an elastic medium. Microscopic observations for several needle- gel interactions were used to characterize the interactions at the bevel tip and along the needle shaft. The model design was guided by microscopic observations of several needle- gel interactions. The energy-based model formulation incor- porates tissue-specific parameters such as rupture toughness, nonlinear material elasticity, and interaction stiffness, and needle geometric and material properties. Simulation results follow similar trends (deflection and radius of curvature) to those observed in macroscopic experimental studies of a robot- driven needle interacting with different kinds of gels. These results contribute to a mechanics-based model of robotic needle steering, extending previous work on kinematic models
Apology Strategies Used by Airline Officers in Handling Problems with Passengers
In this research, I discuss about types of apology strategies used by Lion Group officers in handling problems with passengers. It was triggered by the fact that this Airline Company still manages to have high number of passengers though many of its passengers have been disappointed because of the service given. Here, I used Apology Strategies theory proposed by Eva Ogierman (2009) which divided Apology Strategies into three main categories and each category has its own types. To get the data, I conducted an observation within two weeks in Pattimura Airport, Ambon. From this study I found out that there is a difference in the use of types of apology strategies when the officers had to deal with both calm and emotional passengers. The officers used types of IFIDs category more frequently in dealing with emotional passengers
Hybrid consumption paths in the attribute space: A model and application with scanner data
This paper presents and estimates a dynamic choice model in the attribute space considering rational consumers. In light of the evidence of several state-dependence patterns, the standard attribute-based model is extended by considering a general utility function where pure inertia and pure variety-seeking behaviors can be explained in the model as particular linear cases. The dynamics of the model are fully characterized by standard dynamic programming techniques. The model presents a stationary consumption pattern that can be inertial, where the consumer only buys one product, or a variety-seeking one, where the consumer shifts among varied products. We run some simulations to analyze the consumption paths out of the steady state. Under the hybrid utility assumption, the consumer behaves inertially among the unfamiliar brands for several periods, eventually switching to a variety-seeking behavior when the stationary levels are approached. An empirical analysis is run using scanner databases for three different product categories: fabric softener, saltine cracker, and catsup. Non-linear specifications provide the best fit of the data, as hybrid functional forms are found in all the product categories for most attributes and segments. These results reveal the statistical superiority of the non-linear structure and confirm the gradual trend to seek variety as the level of familiarity with the purchased items increases.Dynamic Choice Model, Rational Consumers, Inertia, Variety Seeking, Hybrid Behavior, Scanner Data

Effect of Vulcanization System and Carbon Black on Mechanical and Swelling Properties of EPDM Blends
EPDM (Ethylene propylene diene monomer) is one of synthetic rubber that widely used in automotive. It must be vulcanized and added by other materials before used. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of vulcanization system and the addition of carbon black (CB) to the mechanical properties and swelling characteristic of EPDM. This research used three vulcanization system, conventional vulcanization (CV), efficient vulcanization (EV) and semi-efficient vulcanization (SEV) with the variation of carbon black 50, 60, 70 phr (per hundred resin). This research showed that EV system resulted faster vulcanization time and lower delta torque than SEV and CV systems. This system also performed the highest tensile strength, elongation, and tear strength, while SEV system resulted the highest hardness. Furthermore, the conventional vulcanization system resulted the lowest swelling index
PENGARUH PESAN IKLAN MELALUI MEDIA TELEVISI TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN PRODUK DETERGEN ATTACK PLUS SOFTENER
Jenis penelitian ini merupakan study survey pada Mahasiswa Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, dengan judul “Pengaruh Pesan Iklan Melalui Media Televisi Terhadap Keputusan Pemilihan Detergen Attack Plus Softener. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel isi pesan, struktur pesan, format pesan dan sumber pesan pada pesan iklan ditelevisi terhadap keputusan pemilihan detergen Attack plus softener, dan variabel manakah yang paling dominan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dengan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Yamane. Uji instrumen dilakukan dengan Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas. Dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Logistik. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, variabel isi pesan, struktur pesan, format pesan dan sumber pesan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan detergen Attack plus softener. Dan diantara keempat variabel yang paling dominan terhadap keputusan pemilihan detergen Attack plus softener adalah variabel sumber pesan karena mempunyai nilai koefisien korelasi terkecil yaitu 0,278652
