    Enhancing the Students’ Critical Thinking Ability and Learning Outcome Through Poe Learning Model

    This study aims to determine the implementation of  Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model, enhancing critical thinking and students’ learning outcome on archiving. This research is a classroom action research utilizing  qualitative approach consisting of two cycles on students of Office Administration. The subject were students at  one of the vocational school in East Java, using data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results showed that POE learning model is able to improve students' ability to think on Archiving. The students’ cognitive learning, affective, and psychomotor  also increased as the implementation of learning model. Hence, the POE learning model is effectively used in learning

    Every company in carrying out its activities must have goals to be achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of placement and career development on employee work performance at PT. Alam Abadi Sejahtera in Jakarta. The method used was explanatory research with a sample of 95 respondents. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study the placement of a significant effect on employee performance by 40.9%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Career development has a significant effect on employee performance by 42.2%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Career placement and simultaneous simultaneous significant effect on employee performance by 51.6%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05

    The discipline of work that is not going well will have an impact on the progress of the organization. Without good discipline in employees, it is difficult for organizations to achieve optimal results. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT. Panca Usaha Sustainable in Jakarta. The method used was explanatory research with a sample of 62 respondents. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study have a significant effect on discipline employee performance by 47.1%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance by 38.7%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Discipline and simultaneous significant effect on employee performance by 56.9%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05.0)

    Ethics of Regional Leadership with Local Wisdom of Siri 'Na Pacce in Makassar Ethnic Society

    The study aims to determine the application of regional leadership ethics with local wisdom of Siri na Pacce  Makassar ethnic community seen from the values contained in it, namely  Appau Tojeng, Lambusu’, Jarrek, Sipakatau, Annyomba ri Karaeng La taala, and pacce. Continuity in the application of leadership values is reflected in the nature of leadership in the District Gowa Regency. The research method is descriptive qualitative, and the focus of research is on the leadership of the Regent of the Gowa Regency. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data on the research results were processed with the analysis technique model Miles and Huberman (2014). The results of the study show that local leadership ethics are still applied to a number of values, namely Appau Tojeng is applied through the union of words and actions taken; Jarrek  is implemented through accountability for achieving the organization's vision and mission; Lambusu’ is applied through open information delivery; Sipakatau is implemented through the provision of benefits, Annyomba ri Karaeng Allah Taala  is implemented through religious activities carried out within the scope of his administration; and pacce is applied through caring for employees and the community.     Public health services are one of the elements of welfare that must be fullfilled by the government. The low quality of services provided by service providers such as hospitals is a social condition that poses a serious threat and must be anticipated as a form of improving service patterns. This study aims to analyze the quality of health services. The method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The primary data was collected through observation and interviews. Secondary data obtained through the study of documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that the still a gap between patient assessment and the provision of services provided by the service provider, including service procedures and health facilities such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, various strategies are needed as steps to improve the quality of health care programs

The method used is descriptive method, which describes the strategy of developing sustainable management of knowledge from various literatures related to human resource development. The results of the literature review show that knowledge management needs to be applied and developed sustainably in every public sector organization. The quality of human resources can be improved through structured knowledge management, as well as public services can increase in line with the increase in the ability or competence of human resources for their work. Human resource governance plays an important role in building a culture of public sector organizations based on knowledge (knowledge culture).     The correlation between State Security is inseparable from the state sovereignty. In its implementation, State Security is achieved through law enforcement by agencies which become state instruments according to their respective duties and tasks. State Security is part of the fourth Immigration function which has the aim of protecting State Sovereignty from foreign threats in the perspective of Immigration. The Crime Act, which at present is no longer in a small scope, it’s already a matter that cannot be limited by a national boundary, or known as Transnational Organized Crime. There are a lot of crimes threatening State Security that have arisen due to threats from abroad. Therefore, the formulation of the problem examined in this paper is what are the threats to state security in the perspective of Immigration for state sovereignty. The research method used is normative legal research that is qualitative in nature and mixed thinking logic (deductive and inductive). From the results of the study it can be seen that the Immigration problem has a direct impact on State Security. So that the need for seriousness in strengthening Immigration in the function of state security for national sovereignty. The Directorate General of Immigration must be the foremost authority in State Security in order to safeguard State Sovereignty with a philosophical guardian of the nation's authoritative gate (bhumi pura wira wibawa)
