Effectiveness of a Natural Family Planning Service Program
Purpose: The aims of this study were to determine and compare extended use-effectiveness of an online nurse-managed fertility education service program among women (and subgroups of women) seeking to avoid pregnancy.
Study Design and Methods: This was a 24-month prospective study of a university-based online Web site with 663 nonbreastfeeding women using an online charting system to avoid pregnancy. Participants tracked their fertility online with either cervical mucus monitoring, electronic hormonal fertility monitoring, or both fertility indicators. Unintended pregnancies were validated by professional nurses.
Results: Participants had a mean age of 30.4 years (SD = 6.3) and mean 1.7 children (SD = 2.0). Among the 663 nonbreastfeeding participants there were 2 unintended pregnancies per 100 at 24 cycles of correct use and 15 pregnancies at 24 cycles of typical use. However, the 212 women using the electronic fertility monitor had a typical use unintended pregnancy rate of 6 at 24 cycles of use in comparison with the 118 women using cervical mucus monitoring that had a typical use pregnancy rate of 19 at 24 cycles and with the 333 women using both fertility indicators that had a pregnancy rate of 18 at 24 cycles of use.
Clinical Implications: Use of the fertility monitor to estimate fertility among nonbreastfeeding women provides the most secure method of avoiding pregnancy
The effectiveness of a training program in increasing crowd funding awareness
The current study tries to verify the effectiveness of a training program in increasing Crowdfunding awareness. The sample was (50) students in CIS, who were purposively selected and distributed equally into a treatment and control group. The researchers designed the study tools (a training program to increase Crowdfunding awareness). The study findings revealed the existence of statistically significant differences between the treatment and control groups in favor of the former. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences between the pre and the post measures of the treatment group in favor of the post measures. Furthermore the current study is unique by the virtue of its nature, scope and way of implied investigation, as it is the first study for Crowdfunding training program in Arabic world
Promoting Emotional and Behavioral Health in Preteens: Benchmarks of Success and Challenges Among Programs in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties

Effectiveness of the Public Work Program in Slovenia
This paper evaluates the direct effects of the Slovenian public work program on the youth. The effectiveness of the program is measured by re-employment probability. A Heckman correction of selection is applied to estimate the average program effects. The Heckman selection estimator is an extensively used method to control for selection on unobserved variables. It relies on the assumption that a specific distribution of the unobservable characteristics jointly influences participation and outcome. The results of the empirical study indicate that the public work program has a positive effect on employment in the short run. In the long run, however, the results are not so obvious.active employment policies, evaluation, Heckman procedure, selection, treatment effects
Equipping with Excellence: Evaluating Effectiveness of Staff Training on Counselors\u27 Experience at Summer Camp
This research study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of staff training on the competency of counselors at summer camp. The study addresses the question, How does the counselor training program provided by a camp affect the experience and effectiveness of the counselor throughout the summer? The participant population includes 8 college age (18-22) camp counselors employed by Cru Kids Camp for summer 2019 as part of its elementary (K-5th) program. Through qualitative interview research, analyzed by thematic network coding, the researcher identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the particular training program. The goal of this study is to provide professional development research on how camp organizations can better support their counselors to serve the campers in the best capacity possible
Do Loyalty Programs Enhance Behavioral Loyalty: An Empirical Analysis Accounting for Program Design and Competitive Effects
This paper studies the effects of loyalty programs on share-of-wallet using market-wide household panel data on supermarket purchases. We find that loyalty programs relate positively to share-of-wallet, but the programs differ in effectiveness and some are ineffective. Both a saving component and a multi-vendor structure enhance the effectiveness of a loyalty program, but high discounts do not lead to higher share-of-wallets.Further, if households have multiple loyalty cards, the effectiveness of a specific loyalty program is much smaller. The positive loyalty program effects on share-of-wallet entail substantial additional customer revenues. However, given the high number of loyalty programs already available in the market, our model predicts that a new loyalty program introduction will only lead to small effects on share-of-wallet.loyalty;marketing;retailing
