The diploma thesis describes the development of an applications for the design and equipment of spaces. The application allows input of multi-storey premises and equipment. The user can use the Oculus Rift glasses for immersion into 3D space. Presented are some programs for spatial planning, which allow user to view the plan in 3D, especially those that operate within a browser, without the need to install software. Also, comparison is given between existing solutions and our application. The main advantage of developed application in respect of existing ones is visualization using 3D glasses, which offer a better user experience

Implementation of push notification using SignalR and WCF

Communication between servers and clients can be realised in several ways. A basic method is, when the client requests and the server responds. In case the client does not know, when the specific information will be available, it needs to ask the server in intervals. This is ineffective, and a better alternative is when the server informs the clients. Such communication is called server push. Server push was implemented with the SignalR library and with the WCF framework. Both technologies have been explored and compared. For comparison of technologies we implemented the notification of activity in revision control. In our case, we had two types of clients. The first client is an interface for managing the control of the Git revision control. It informs the server about actions, which take place over the code. The second client is a desktop application and an application for Windows Phone 8. Both applications receive notifications of activities in revision control

Modeling the relationship between physical training and performance in endurance sports

Exercise regimen is an integral part of sports coaching, the goal of which is to improve an individual's athletic performance. In an effort to better understand and optimize athletic performance, exercise physiologists have developed mathematical models of physical training and performance. Banister model and "Training Stress Score", a method to quantify training load have been presented in this thesis. An overview of existing literature has been conducted and Banister model has been tested on training data of six road cyclists. Model's prediction quality has been proven poor and its shortcomings have been exposed during evaluation
