Charting collective knowledge: Technology-enhanced professional learning
The workplace is an environment where powerful, deep and effective learning takes place through non-formal workplace learning, as well as through formal training and education. This article describes a mechanism to enhance learning at work by capitalising on collective knowledge within an organisation. Two scenarios are presented illustrating how individual and group learning and performance may be improved. These scenarios are based on empirical data of knowledge work practices within a multinational organization

Managing e-Learning: what are the real implications for schools?
This paper is concerned with the use of e-learning in secondary education. It is based on research that has taken place over a period of two years with students aged 14-16 (Key Stage 4). The paper considers the current research in e-learning and identifies the challenges faced by students, the changing role of the learner, and the impact e-learning can have on students. The author argues that preparation needs to be carried out at the school level prior to introducing e-learning into the Key Stage 4 curriculum. It concludes by discussing the findings of the research which identifies a range of issues schools may want to consider, when embracing e-learning
land home place belong - Pamela Croft
In Pamela Croft’s art works within her solo exhibition I hear, see, feel and sense the importance of tradition, recognition of ancestors, respect for uniqueness in spiritual expression, facilitation of an understanding within the contexts of history and culture, a sense of place, connections to family and community, commitment to educational and social transformation that recognizes and empowers the inherent strength of Aboriginal peoples and cultures and the challenges to non-Aboriginal people to truly listen and absorb in order to move to a place of understanding of the Aboriginal world… The ideal purpose of education is to attain knowledge, seek truth, wisdom, completeness and life as seen by self and others. Story is one of the unique ways of Aboriginal education in both teaching and learning. It is in the story that there is made a place for honouring of self, family, community, place, nature and spirituality. In this exhibition Pamela Croft has revealed many things about her own story, her own journeying and the journey of many other Aboriginal peoples. She has then set each idea, concept and event in contexts that are based on history, place, environment and process which intertwine within one larger story of this country and humanity. Aboriginal learning is generally tied to a place environmentally, socially and spiritually. Indigenous teaching and learning are intertwined with the daily lives of the teacher and the learner. Pamela is both her own teacher and her own learner, she learns from the environment, other people, her community and her culture. She has defined history and place in terms to create a place for learning and for the individuals who participate in this solo exhibition of her work. Thus her words as you enter, “Listen, listen with your ears, listen with your eyes, listen with your body, listen with your spirit, listen”

This research purposed to know the comparative effectiveness of the use of web based E-Learning media in Information Technology and Communication subjects to improve learning achievement students of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan when compared with conventional learning in place at the school.
The research method is quasi-experimental research method with two class sample XA and XB in SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan.
The research method is used in this research was quasi-experimental research methods with a sample of research is the class XA and XB SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique is used was random sampling. Different test done to measure the difference in the effectiveness of web based E-Learning media and conventional learning media based on learning achievement of using Independent Sample t-test.
Based on these results it can be concluded that the effectiveness of web based E-Learning media have an index of normalized gain is 0,54; effectiveness of conventional learning media have an index of normalized gain is 0,30 and improved learning achievement with web based E-Learning media is better than the improved learning achievement of conventional learning media while they in the same criteria. The criteria is in sufficient criteria. But if based on calculation of the gain, improvement learning achievement with based on the t test of the average value of learning achievement acquired thitung > ttabel (2,870> 1,672), as well as the significant value of P (0006) <α (0.05), thus Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It is proved that web based E-Learning media effectively to improve student learning achievement in the material Presentation Maker Software Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan.

The Five Accomplishments: A Framework for Obtaining Customer Feedback in a Health Service Community Learning Disability Team
The usefulness of using the philosophy of normalisation and, in particular, O`Brien`s (1992) Five Accomplishments as a basis for evaluating client satisfaction with a community based health service learning disabilities team was examined. A survey of a group of people with mild learning disabilities took place using the Five Accomplishments as a framework for a semi-structured interview.
