The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture, work ethic and discipline on the employees performance either partially or simultaneously of Social Rehabilitation Institution Pamardi Khusnul Khotimah at Tangerang Selatan. The results showed that organizational culture based on partial test was positive and significant effect on the performance of 76,2%, while work ethos can be good too was positive and significant effect on the performance of 72,2%, then work discipline also was positive and significant effect on the performance of 73%. The result of correlation coefficient (R2) of 76,7% can be summed up the effect of the variable X1 (organizational culture),  X2 (work ethos) and X3 (discipline) to variable Y (employees performance) where the relationship is positive. The results of calculation for 53.874 F-value further consultation with the F-table with dk = k numerator and denominator dk = (nk-1) with a 5% error level the importance of the F table = 2,80. Provisions applicable for F-value greater than F-table (53.874  > 2,80), it can be stated that the multiple correlation is significant. Thus the null hypothesis (H0) that states there is no effect between organizational culture, work ethos and discipline influence on employees performance is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepte

Performance analysis of spatial modulation aided NOMA with full-duplex relay

    Get PDF
A spatial modulation aided non-orthogonal multiple access with full-duplex relay (SM-NOMA-FDR) scheme is proposed for the coordinated direct and relay transmission in this paper. Specifically, the signal of the near user is mapped to an M-ary modulated symbol and the signal of the far user is mapped to an SM symbol. The base station first transmits signals to the near user and relay via SM-NOMA, and then the relay decodes and retransmits the signal of the far user. An SM-assisted FDR is used in this scheme to improve the spectral efficiency while reducing energy consumption and making full use of the antenna resources at the relay, since SM only activates one antenna in each transmission. We derive the ergodic capacity and bit error rate of the proposed scheme over independent Rayleigh fading channels. Numerical results validate the accuracy of the theoretical analysis and show the superior performance of the proposed SM-NOMA-FDR scheme

This study aims to assess performance of Regional Budget (APBD) which includes revenues, spending/expenditures and financing activities of Jayawijaya Government. The data used was the budgeted and realization of Revenue, Spending/Expenditure and Financing activities of Jayawijaya regency from 2010 to 2014. The analysis techniques used was a qualitative approach through various financial ratios. To calculate revenues performance this study employed Variant Analysis (differences of) Budget Revenue, Revenue Growth, Degree of Independence of the region, Regional Reliance to the central government, Degree of Decentralization, Local Tax Effectiveness and Overlay analysis to measure performance of the generated income. Meanwhile to measure expenditure used Variant Analysis (difference) Budgeted Expenditure, Growth of Regional Expenditure, Synchronization of Governmental Spending, Spending Effectiveness and Overlay analysis to measure overall spending/expenditures performance. Following the analysed data, the study obtained following results: 1) Jayawijaya's revenue performance during 2010 to 2014 based on the overlay analysis was not good. The main caused was due to low degree of the region financial independence, high degree of fiscal dependence for external funding as well as the low degree of fiscal decentralization, 2) Spending/Expenditure Performance of Jayawijaya from 2010 to 2014 was good. This was because of the increasing growth of Jayawijaya's spending/expenditure and the effectiveness of spending/expenditure in Jayawijaya. Keywords: Budget, Revenue, Spending/ Expenditure, Regional Budget Performanc

The treatment performance of community based (decentralized) wastewater treatment systems are not monitored by municipalities in Tanzania and therefore these systems pose pollution threat to receiving water bodies. The aim of this research is to assess and compare the treatment performance of existing community based technologies which are affordable, manageable and climate compatible in Tanzania. The selected existing decentralized technologies for this study were Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) found in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam and Constructed Wetland (CW) found in Mbagala, Dar es Salaam. Wastewater samples in and out of these systems were collected and analyzed for physical, chemical and biological parameters. The observed average effluent concentration of BOD5 (67.5, 90 mg/L), NH3-N (276.6, 115.7 mg/L), PO4-P (13.2, 17.7 mg/L) and FC (9 x106, 4.2x106 counts/100mL) in ABR and CW, respectively testified to an inferior standard of treatment caused by mismanaged operation and maintenance. Both ABR and CW with slight adjustment were found to be effective in removal of all physical, chemical and biological parameters

    Get PDF
In this chapter, the authors present the performance of multi-antenna selective combining decode-and- forward (SC-DF) relay networks over independent and identically distributed (i.i.d) Nakagami-m fading channels. The outage probability, moment generation function, symbol error probability and average channel capacity are derived in closed-form using the Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) statistical character- istics. After that, the authors formulate the outage probability problem, optimize it with an approximated problem, and then solve it analytically. Finally, for comparison with analytical formulas, the authors perform some Monte-Carlo simulations
