    Perfomance and Efficiency in Colombia's Power Distribution Sistem: Effects of the 1994 Reform

    We asess evolution in perfomance, efficiency and productivity of Colombia's power distribution utilitiesbefore and after the 1994 regulatory reform that introduced electricity market activities for the power sector in 12 distribution companies from 1985 to 2001. Perfomance is evaluated contrasting changes in meanand median by Wilcoxon Rank Sum and Pearson test on financial and other perfomance indicators. Technical efficiency is measured by means of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The nature of the dataset allows the the estimation of Malmquist productivity index and its evolution in time. Results show a recovery after thereform in the mains perfomance indicators of profitability, parcial input productivity, and output. Plantefficiency and productivity increased after de reform, mainly in the largest utilities used as benchmarks inthe DEA efficiency scores measures. Meanwhile, the less efficient power distribution companies did not improve after the reform and were not able to undertake plant restructuring to chatch up in plant efficiency with respectto the Pareto efficient input allocation.     The objectives of this research are: (1) to know and analyze effect directive leadership style, motivation and dicipline in simultaneously on perfomance; (2) to know and analyze effect directive leadership style on perfomance; (3) to know and analyze the effect of motivation on perfomance; (4) to know and analyze the effect of dicipline on perfomance. This research employs explanatory to investigate the relationship among variables involving 72 samples that have been determined using sencus method. The result show that: (1) directive mode of leadership, motivation and dicipline perform positive and significant effect on personnel's perfomances at Indonesian Navy of Palu Naval Based; (2) directive mode of leadership perform positive and significant effect on personnel's perfomances; (3) Motivation perform positive and significant effect on personnel's performances (4) dicipline perform positive and significant effect on personel's perfomances

    ANALISIS PENGALAMAN PENGGUNA PADA APLIKASI SANG KURIR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN USABILITY TESTING DAN USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ)

    Sang Kurir merupakan aplikasi lokal yang dikembangkan di Desa Pesanggaran Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Aplikasi ini menyediakan jasa pelayanan seperti delivery makanan , layanan ojek dan jasa lainya yang memudahkan masyarakat Pesanggaran. Satu satu keberhasilan aplikasi mampu memberikan pengalaman yang baik dan respon positif dari para pengguna, sehingga untuk mengetahui pengalaman pengguna pada Sang Kurir perlu adanya analisis User Experience Questionnaire Experience dengan melakukan pengujian Usability Testing Testing menggunakan metode Scenario Task dan pengukuran User Experience Questionnaire Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Pada pengujian Scenario Task terdapat 5 tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh 10 responden sesuai dengan 4 parameter Scenario Task (Number of Click During Task Completion, Task Succes Rate, Error During Task Perfomance dan Time Per Completed Task). Pada pengukuran UEQ terdapat 6 skala (AttractivenessDaya Tarik, Efficiency, Percpicuit, Dependability, Stimulation, dan Novelty) dengan 26 item pertanyaan dan 85 responden . Dari hasil pengujian Scenario Task pada Number of Click During Task Completion rata-rata 5.18, parameter Task Succes Rate mendapatkan 96% keberhasilan, hasil Error During Task Perfomance mendapatkan persentase 13.75%. Dan hasil rata-rata Time Per Completed Task 22.04. Kemudian untuk pengukuran User Experience Questionnaire Experience Questionnaire berada pada level Benchmark mendapatkan level Above (Diatas Rata-rata) untuk semua skalanya. Sehingga pada hasil analisis aplikasi Sang Kurir mendapatkan respon yang baik bagi para pengguna

The Enviromental Agency always organizes vehicle\u27s emission once a year. The proposed to keep air quality in Pekanbaru and to know how many percents vehicle\u27s emission effect for air pollution in Pekanbaru. So, many things are valued from perfomance evaluation of environment agency in Pekanbaru to know about The Environmental Agency to reach the goal of vehicle\u27s emission program. The goal is knowing about The Environmental agency\u27s perfomance and the factors those effect for vehicle\u27s emission in Pekanbaru.The concept of theory that researchers is perfomance, evaluation and organization.     This research aimed at analyzing the relationship between the personnel's work ethos, their satisfaction, their dicipline, and their job perfomance. The data were collected through observation reflecting the real condition and interview with 14 respondents representing different level of positions at the provincial general office of Central Sulawesi. The method of research was qualitative analysis in which the data taken from questionnaire were analyzed statistically by using Sperman's Correlation and Line Analysis Model. It is found that there was a significant influence between the personnel's work ethos (X1)and their jobperfomance (Y). However, the other variables of the personnel's job satisfaction (X2) and their dicipline (X3) had indirect influence to the personnel's job perfomance. These three factors tended to control the personnel's job perfomance up to 72.99% while other factors outside the model contributed 27.01 % to their job perfomance. Based on the correlation analysis, there were two variables which have positive correlation of 0.507, namely job satisfaction and dicipline. The personnel's work ethos, however, and job satisfaction have a positively very low correlation of 0.268

    This study aims to determine the financial perfomance Cigarette Company listing in the BEI during the period 2011-2013 with using analyzed Du Pont System with the approach Time Series Analysis and Cross Sectional. This analysis more thorough and to find can how strong the relationship margin, asset turnover, the use of debt as well as the ROI on ROE. Based on the results of research, financial perfomance PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk have unfavorable development, asshown by the method of Time Series Analysis that ROI tends to decline during the three years that is equal to 4,83%, -4,66%, and -11,29%. Through the Cross Sectional, the company is located below the tobacco industry average. Financial perfomance PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk have god development, in the show with the method of time that ROI tends to increase over three years that is equal to 41,62%, 37,89%, and 39,48%. If using Cross Sectional, Sampoerna is above the average standard tobacco industry. Perfomance PT. Gudang Garam Tbk is quite good progress barn has shown the method of Time Series Analysis that ROI over three years in a stable condition that is equal to 12,68%, 9,8%, and 8,63%.     The purpose of this research was to describe the correlation between work stress and achieved motivation with teacher\u27s perfomance at the junior high school teachers at Manna East of Bengkulu. The method of research was correlational. The data was collected by using questionnaire, the data analysis was correlation, linear regression, and double regression to examine the hypotesis. The results of this research were (1) There was significant relation between work stress and teachers perfomance; (2) There was significant relation between achieved motivation and teachers perfomance; (3) There was together relation between work stress and achieved motivation to the teachers perfomance. According to the first and the second hyphothesis, it was conversed to the third hyphotesis, it was estimated that work stress followed by achieved motivation will increase the teachers perfomance
