    The problem in this research is that the lower passing skill of male volleyball team SMAN 1 Pekanbaru is considered to be poor, it could be seen when the team was attempting to catch the lower passing ball by the teammate, and also the ball movement was not correct. This is an experimental research, population used for this research is male volleyball team of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, and a total of 12 players was contributed as samples. The data needed was collected from pre-test and post-test. The instrument of this research is a lower pass to the wall to measure their skill on it. The variables of this research are paired and individual lower passing as independent variable (X) and lower passing skill as dependent variable (Y). data collected was processed statistically to examine the normality by using liliefors test at 0,05α significance level. Hypothesis proposed was there is an impact on doing paired and individual lower passing exercise to lower passing skill. Referred to t-test analysis, it is concluded: 1) Tcount 9,42 > Ttable 2,015, 2) Tcount 12,15 > Ttable 2,015, 3) Tcount 4,28 > Ttable 1,812. In conclusion, Ho is rejected and HI is accepted, it has shown a significant impact of paired and individual lower passing training to lower passing skill on male volleyball team of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru

    The Effect of self-controlled practice on forearm passing, motivation, and affect in women’s volleyball players

    Motor learning research has suggested that self-controlled practice (or “autonomy”) leads to more effective learning of motor tasks. Debate continues, however, as to why. Most motor behaviorists maintain the better learning is due to cognitive and information-processing factors. Recently, others have proposed the learning enhancement is due to such psychological factors as motivation and affect. The present study sought to measure motor skill learning, intrinsic motivation, and affect in self-controlled versus externally-controlled (yoked) practice conditions. Participants, 16 collegiate women’s volleyball student-athletes from two National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I programs, were paired by forearm passing skill level, and one of each pair was randomly placed in either the self-control or yoked group. The self-control participants were asked to design their own forearm passing drill during the practice phase of the experiment. The yoked participants followed the design established by the self-control participant to whom they were yoked. Each of the participants’ forearm passing accuracy was measured in a free ball passing drill consisting of a pre-test and practice phase on Day 1, and a post-test on Day 2. Their intrinsic motivation was measured using the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI), and their positive and negative affect was measured using the Positive and Negative Affect Scale – Expanded Edition (PANAS-X). The IMI and PANAS-X were administered in a baseline condition (after a team practice one week prior to participation in the study) at the end of Day 1, and the end of Day 2. Analysis of the data revealed no statistically significant differences between groups in either forearm passing, intrinsic motivation, or affect. Further research is needed to determine if intrinsic motivation and affect are partially responsible for the learning benefits of self-controlled practice

    This research is about to study the effect of tactical and technical approach to learning result of passing andstoping skill. The results of this study is expected to serve as an alternative solution in order to improve thequality of learning soccer. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in thisresearch is the first semester 1 student of FKIP UIR as many as 160 people. The number of samples are 16people with sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. Time of research is for 2 months, the numberof treatment 16 times meeting, with frequency 1 week 3 times. The author\u27s chosen instrument is a passing andstoping skills test in football. for physical education students FKIP UIR soccer skills test (early and final test ofpassing and stoping skills). Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded: (1) The learning approachusing tactical approach gives influence to the skill of passing and stoping the student of FKIP UIR physicaleducation (2) The learning approach using tactical approach gives influence to the skill of passing and stopingthe student of FKIP UIR mask. (3) using a tactical approach and a technical approach are equally influential onpassing and stoping skills of UF FKIP students. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan latihan massed practice dan distributed practice terhadap kemampuan passing bola bawah dalam permainan sepak bola pada siswa PSB BONANSA UNS kelompok umur 10 - 12 tahun, tahun 2013. (2) Metode latihan mana yang lebih baik pengaruhnya antara metode latihan massed practice dan distributed practice terhadap kemampuan passing bola bawah dalam permainan sepak bola pada siswa PSB BONANSA UNS kelompok umur 10 -12 tahun, tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa PSB BONANSA UNS Kelompok Umur 10 - 12 Tahun, yang berjumlah 66 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan pengukuran dalam olahraga. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dengan uji prasyarat uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendekatan latihan massed practice dan distributed practice terhadap kemampuan passing bola bawah dalam permainan sepak bola pada siswa PSB BONANSA UNS kelompok umur 10 - 12 tahun, tahun 2013, (t hitung = 2,454 > t tabel= 2,120). (2) Peningkatan kemampuan passing bola bawah pada siswa PSB BONANSA UNS kelompok umur 10 - 12 tahun, tahun 2013 kelompok I (kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan metode massed practice) = 89,71% > kelompok II (kelompok yang diberi perlakuan metode distributed practice ) = 55,07%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pendekatan latihan massed practice dan distributed practice yang signifikan, (2) penerapan metode pendekatan latihan massed practice lebih baik pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan passing bola bawah pada permainan sepakbola dibanding dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan latihan distributed practice. This study is an experimental study whose sample is students of PSB Bonansa UNS age of 10 – 12 in number of 66. Sampling technic in this study is proporsional random sampling and the data are collected by means of test and sport measurement. After data have been collected then they are analysed using ttest with significance level 5% in line wit reliability, normality and homogenity test. Based on the analysis, it can be inferred that (1) there has been significant difference between massed parctice and distributed practice toward lower ball passing skill in football at PSB Bonansa UNS age of 10 – 12 in 2013 (t count = 2,454 > t table = 2,120), (2) there has been increase in lower ball passing skill of students at PSB Bonansa UNS age of 10 – 12 in 2013 group I (group treated with massed practice) = 89,71% > group II (group treated with distributed practice) = 55,07% To summarize, (1) there has been significant difference of effect of massed practice and distributed practice (2) massed practice has been proven to give better effect than distributed practice in increasing skills of lower ball pasing in football.     Perbandingan Evektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad Tgt dan Jigsaw terhadap Hasil Belajar Passing Atas dan Bawah Bolavoli pada Siswa Kelas XI Sman I Pujut Lombok Tengah

    Tujuan untuk penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD TGT dan JIGSAW terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan passing atas dan bawah bolavoli. Metode yang digunakan adalah jenis action reseach dengan pendekatan desain pre-tes post-tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penilaian portofolio pada keterampilan passing atas dan bawah bolavoli. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD menunjukkan peningkatan nilai keterampilan passing atas sebesar 46,3% dan untuk passing bawah sebesar 43,8%; penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT menunjukkan peningkatan nilai keterampilan passing atas sebesar 35,9%, sedangkan pada nilai passing bawah sebesar 43,7%; penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe JIGSAW menunjukkan peningkatan nilai keterampilan passing atas sebesar 46,1%, sedangkan pada nilai keterampilan passing bawah sebesar 44,4%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada materi keterampilan passing atas dan bawah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD TGT dan JIGSAW menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih baik.     KONTRIBUSI KOORDINASI MATA TANGAN DENGAN KETERAMPILAN PASSING BOLAVOLI

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dengan keterampilan passing atas, hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dengan keterampilan passing bawah, dan seberapa besar kontribusi koordinasi mata tangan terhadap keterampilan passing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif, adapun tes pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, speed coordination reaction time untuk mengukur koordinasi mata tangan dan NSCU volleyball battery test untuk mengukur keterampilan passing atas dan passing bawah, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet UKM Bola Voli Putra UPI dan yang memiliki kriteria sebagai sampel sebanyak 15 orang . Hasil dari pengolahan data yang di lakukan oleh peneliti adalah terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata tangan dengan keterampilan passing atas dengan nilai 57,8%.danTerdapat kontribusi yang signifkan antara koordinasi mata tangan dengan keterampilan passing bawah dengan nilai 41%. Dengan hasil penelitian yang sudah didapatkan, semoga penelitian ini bisa bermanfaat dan memberikan informasi keilmuan bagi atlet dan pelatih khususnya dalam cabang olahraga bola voli.;---This study aims to determine the correlation of hand eye coordination with upper passing skills, hand eye coordination correlation with lower passing skills, and how much contribution of hand eye coordination to passing skill. The method used in this research is descriptive correlative, while the measurement test in this research using, speed coordination reaction time to measure hand eye coordination and NSCU volleyball battery test to measure the skill of passing up and passing down, population in this study is athlete of UKM Volley Ball men of UPI and who has the criteria as a sample of 15 people. The result of data processing done by the researcher is there is significant contribution between hand eye coordination with skill of passing up with value of 57,8%. There is a significant contibution between hand eye coordination with lower passing skills with a value 41% . With the results of research that has been obtained, hopefully this research can be useful and provide scientific information for athletes and coaches, especially in volleyball

    This research was conducted to describe the application of active learning based on Better Teaching and Learning (BTL) in improving process skill and students study result of grade VIII SMP N 21 Semarang. The methode is classroom Action Research. The research result reviewed that the increasethe process skill of students at cycle 1 and 2 are :80.95 and 94.29. While the studentsstudy result above passing grade at the cycles 1and 2 are: 74.0 and 77.0.     Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Pendekatan Taktis dapat meningkatan keterampilan pembelajaran gerak dasar passing Sepakbola pada siswa kelas V SDN kadujajar 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PTK. Desain Penelitian menurut Kemmis dan Taggart (Wiriaatmadja, 2005: 66). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Kadujajar I Kabupaten Sumedang yang berjumlah 25 siswa, 12 siswa perempuan dan 13 siswa laki-laki. Data awal dari 25 orang siswa, hanya 7 siswa (28%) yang mampu melakukan passing dengan baik dan 18 siswa (72%) belum mampu melakukan passing dengan baik. pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan, dokumentasi dan tes praktek passing. data yang terkumpul diolah, dianalisis sehingga menggambarkan hasil penelitian. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa dengan pembelajaran gerak dasar passing. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan tindakan yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Pada siklus I yang tuntas ada 11 siswa atau 44% dari jumlah 25 siswa, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 22 atau 88%. Hasil melebihi target, yaitu sebesar 80%. Kesimpulan. melalui pendekatan Taktis pada pembelajaran Keterampilan Gerak Dasar Sepakbola meningkat dari siklus ke siklus. diharapkan Pendidik dapat menerapkan pendekatan Taktis pada Pembelajaran Sepakbola. The aim of this research is to know how Tactical Approach can increase learning skill of basic movement of passing in Football at fifth grade students in SDN Kadujajar 1. The method used in this research is PTK. Research design is according to Kemmis and Taggart (Wiriaatmadja, 2005: 66). Research subject is fifth grade students in SDN Kadujajar 1 Kabupaten Sumedang who are about 25 students, 12 girls and 13 boys. First data from 25 students, only 7 students (28%) are capable to do passing well and 18 students (72%) have not been capable yet to do passing. The writer collects the data by doing interview, observation, court record, documentation, and practice test of passing. Data collected is processed, analyzed until describing the research result. Increasing the students’ skill is by learning basic movement of passing. Based on implementation result, action which is done is as many as two cycles. In cycle 1 there are 11 students or 44% from 25 students who are complete and it improves in cycle 2 to be 22 or 88%. The result surpasses the target as big as 80%. The Conclusion. Through Tactical approach of learning Skill of Basic Movement in Football increases from cycle to cycle. Teacher is expected can apply Tactical approach in Football Learning
