Real estate register data and its usability for the analysis of the existing housing fund-case study: municipality of Kočevje

The thesis deals with the usability of the Real Estate Register for the analysis of the housing fund. The study of usability was conducted in the case of municipality of Kočevje. The first part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the attribute data of the Real Estate Register. The existing housing fund was analysed according to the type of residential buildings as well as the year of it is construction and the type of material. The renovations of\ud the housing fund are presented as well.\ud The second part of the thesis was focused on the cartographic presentation of several characteristics of the housing fund. It is noted that the Real Estate Register data is generally useful for analysis of the housing fund in the municipality of Kočevje, with the exception of the data regarding district heating, and the data regarding roof and façade renovations

The Application of Enamel Matrix Protein Derivative (Emdogain®) in Regenerative Periodontal Therapy: Which Applications are Evidence Based?

Cilj je regenerativnog liječenja parodonta ponovno uspostaviti izgubljenu građu parodonta (t.j. obnova korijenskoga cementa, parodontnoga ligamenta i alveolarne kosti). Rezultati temeljnih istraživanja upućuju na važnu ulogu proteinskog derivata matriksa cakline (enamel matrix protein derivative, EMD) u cijeljenju oštećenja parodonta. Histološki rezultati pokusa na životinjama i izvješća o slučajevima u ljudi, pokazuju da se primjenom EMD-a pospješuje obnova parodonta. Štoviπe, klinička istraživanja upućuju na zaključak da se primjenom EMD-a pozitivno utječe na cijeljenje parodontnih rana u čovjeka. Cilj je ovoga preglednog rada, na osnovi postojećih podataka iznijeti koje su kliničke indikacije za regenerativnu primjenu EMD-a.The goal of regenerative periodontal therapy is the reconstitution of the lost periodontal structures (i.e. the new formation of root cementum, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone). Results from basic research have pointed to the important role of the enamel matrix protein derivative (EMD) in periodontal wound healing. Histological results of experiments in animals and of human case reports have shown that treatment with EMD promotes periodontal regeneration. Moreover, clinical studies have indicated that treatment with EMD positively influences periodontal wound healing in humans. The goal of the current overview is to present, based on the existing evidence, the clinical indications for regenerative therapy with EMD

The Reconstruction of Vyškov Rectory

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rekonstrukcí a návrhem nového funkčního využití objektu bývalé fary ve Vyškově a novostavbou galerie na sousedním pozemku. Budova fary byla obnovena do původního stavu, dispoziční řešení respektuje požadavky děkana farnosti, je zpřístupněna osobám s omezenou schopností pohybu a orientace. Nový objekt bude přízemní galerie, která obohatí kulturní vyžití ve městě Vyškov. Hmotové řešení galerie bylo inspirováno průnikem hranolů. V další fázi se počítá s vytvořením veřejného prostoru mezi farou a galerií, parkovacích míst a parkových úprav.Bachelor thesis deals with reconstruction and design of new functional use of the former rectory in Vyskov and new gallery on the neighboring property. Rectory building has been restored to its original condition, disposition solution respects the requirements of dean of parish, it is accessible to people with limited mobility. The new building will storey building gallery, which will enrich the cultural life in Vyskov. Mass design gallery was inspired by the intersection prisms. The next phase includes the creation of public space between the rectory and gallery, parking spaces and a park.

Renewal of baths Zábrdovice

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je obnova lázní v městské části Brno-Zábrdovice. Prostor celého pozemku sestává z letního koupaliště, budovy zimních lázní a novostavby krytého bazénu. Obnovovaná budova zimních lázní je provozně členěna na 3 části, z nichž první bude využívána jako wellness centum, druhá část jako bowlingová hala s restaurací a třtí část jako fitness centrum. Návrh obnoby zimních lázní co nejvíce respektuje funkcionalistickou arcitekturu, proto bude z velké části zachován její původní výraz a budou zde použity tradičelý objekt je řní materiály. Celý objekt je řešen jako bezbariérový.The subject of my thesis is renovation of an winter´s spa in the part of Brno-Zábrdovice. The space of thesite compprises an outdoor swimming pool, a building of winter´s spa and a new building of indoor swimming pool. The restore object is divided into three parts. The first part contains wellness centre, the second part includes a bowling hall with restaurant abd the third part contains a fitnness centre with a weight room. The proposition of renovation respects a functionalist architecture, therefore, will largely retain its original look and will be used traditional materials here. There is solved a wheelchair accesible in the whole area.

Restoration of historical building - Malá Františkánská Znojmo

Bakalářská práce vychází z ateliérové práce letního semestru během třetího ročníku bakalářského studia. Tématem tohoto projektu je obnova gotického domu. Stavba se nachází v památkově chráněném území města Znojma na rohu ulic Malé Františkánské a Klácelovy v blízkosti kostela sv. Mikuláše. Dům prošel jak barokní tak klasicistní přestavbou. Počátkem tohoto století přišel dům zbytky střechy. Během následujících let ztratil dům i stropní konstrukce. Ze stavby zůstal zachován jen vstupní gotický portál a obvodové gotické zdivo. Ačkoli se dům nachází v památkově chráněné části města, rozhodl jsem se pro netradiční architektonické pojetí stavby. Hlavní myšlenkou bylo navrhnout jednoduchou hmotu nové stavby, která bude v harmonii s původním gotickým zdivem. Rozhodl jsem se nenadstavovat obvodové gotické zdivo, ale umístit stavbu až za něj. První podlaží tvoří prosklená fasáda, která nabízí průhledy z interiéru do exteriéru přes pozůstatky gotického obvodového zdiva. Na sloupech za prosklenou fasádou je vynesena hmota druhého nadzemního podlaží, která svým tvarem odkazuje na okolní zástavbu. Materiál této hmoty je jednotný. Výrazným prvkem exteriéru jsou vystupující okenní rámy druhého nadzemního podlaží a prosklená výtahová šachta. V objektu se bude nacházet bar s kavárnou a galerií moderního umění. V suterénu bylo zachováno sklepení s renesanční klenbou.Bachelor´s thesis is based on a studio project created in the summer term of third year of bachelor studies. The main theme of this project is architecture restoration of a Gothic burgher town house. The building site is located in the conservation area of the town Znojmo, on the corner of streets Malá Františkánská and Klácelova, nearby the St. Nicholas church. The house underwent both baroque and classicist reconstruction. Early in the 21st. century, the house lost its roof and, in the course of several following years, the ceiling structures collapsed. What has been preserved by now is the gothic entrance portal and some fragments of the exterier gothic masonry. Although the house is located inside an ancient urban conservation area, I have decided for an unusual architecture solution. My main idea was to design simple modern structure in harmony with the gothic masonry. I decided not to place new structures on the top of the ruins of the gothic masonry but to place the new mass of the building behind the gothic walls. There is glass fasade on the first floor of the building which provides comunication between interier and exterier through the ruins of exterier gothic masonry. The simple structure of second floor is raised on collumns behind the glass facade. The shape of structure refers to buildings surround. Exterier material finish of the structure is concrete facade panel (same material on walls and roof). The important part of exterier are frames of windows in the second floor. And the structure of elevator. The building will be used as gallery of modern art with bar&cafe. There will be preserved renaissance vault in the basement.
