Textile collages: a new concept of sustainable products for fashion design
A preocupação ambiental é hoje uma das grandes questões e desafios do design no século XXI. Em detrimento disso, os profissionais de design possuem maiores desafios para alcançarem os requisitos de concepção de produtos industriais, tendo sempre em mente os fatores de sustentabilidade ao longo de todo o ciclo de vida dos produtos. Nesse pensamento, esse artigo consiste na apresentaçao de alguns resultados de pesquisa de Doutorado em Design realizado na Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal) cujo assunto é a criação e o desenvolvimento de design de superfícies têxteis através da técnica da colagem têxtil, numa ótica de desenvolvimento sustentado.Environmental concern is now one of the major issues and challenges of design in the twenty-first century. In addition expense, design professionals have greater challenges in meeting the design requirements of industrial products, always bearing in mind the factors of sustainability throughout the life cycle of products. Main constraints in developing public organic procurement
The present study investigates how to increase and improve school catering supply chains, to understand hindering factors and their perception in order to reveal drivers and constraints for POP. These include policy implementation instruments, changed values and attitudes, healthy nutrition policies, supply chain bottle necks, premium prices (to producers), successful procurement strategies and certification procedures.
This work is based on a two-step survey concerning the Italian school food service system. Initially questionnaires were submitted to a qualified group of 50 producers and 50 caterers (managers of national and international companies of food service for school, local administrators who manage food services for the schools). The results of the questionnaires have subsequently been the basis to plan in-depth interviews with few decision makers who could represent both caterers and producers. The aim of this second step being to view how identified problems could be solved.
The results show how the understanding and the acceptance of the organic food concept among the catering staff is crucial for the degree of success in each step of public organic procurement. The introduction of organic food in serving outlets needs appropriate support (such as qualification of key actors and a specific financial support). Other key aspects in this regard are laws and regulations promoting the procurement of quality food, policy interventions tackling more than one aspect of the problem, education programs, calls for tenders, negotiated procurement contracts and quality standards

Curs acadèmic 2013-2014TOPSHOP INVASION es una pieza audiovisual basada en la técnica de animación de stop motion cuya función es promocionar la firma de moda británica a través de las redes sociales y, a su vez, transmitir de forma artística unos intangibles específicos asociados a la marca.
Para la realización de este proyecto, he decidido crear un spot basado en TOPSHOP, una importante cadena de ropa y complementos de origen británico que se está introduciendo todavía hoy en el mercado nacional.
Además, más adelante se detallará el análisis del mercado en el que se desarrolla la acción estratégica de marketing de la pieza audiovisual, así como su estructura de producción.TOPSHOP INVASION is an audio-visual piece of work based on the animation technique of stop motion whose function is to promote the fashionable British brand across the social networks and to transmit a few specific intangibles associated with the brand artistically.
For the accomplishment of this project, I have decided to create a spot based on TOPSHOP, an important British clothing brand of clothes and complements that is still establishing its business in Spanish.
