    Montessori education and practice: a review of scientific literature and research published during the period 2013 to 2018

    U prvom dijelu rada opisan je život i djelovanje Marie Montessori i načela Montessori pedagogije, dok je u drugom dijelu rada obrađen sustavni pregled literature o Montessori pedagogiji. U sustavnom pregledu literature korištene su ključne riječi: Montessori pedagogy, Montessori approach, Montessori scientific paper, Montessori literature, review of Montessori literature i effects of Montessori pedagogy. Korištene baze za pretraživanje podataka su WoS i Scopus, a pretraživalo se razdoblje od 2013.-2018.godine. Na temelju istraživanja, od ukupno 186 radova, izdvojen je 81 rad. Izdvojeni radovi su kategorizirani u 11 područja: položaj žena, arhitektura/dizajn, jezik, matematika, tehnologija/IT, rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje, osnovna škola, visokoškolska razina, Maria Montessori-život i djelo, načela Montessori pedagogije/filozofija/pristup i demencija/ Alzheimerova bolest. Najviše radova ima u području ranog i predškolskog obrazovanja i osnovne škole, odmah iza njih slijedi područje tehnologije/IT i područje demencije/Alzheimerove bolesti. Veći broj radova se bavi proučavanjem filozofije Montessori pedagogije nego što se proučava život i djelovanje same Marie Montessori. Područje položaja žena i arhitekture/dizajna broji jednak broj objavljenih radova, kao i područje jezika i matematike. Područje visokog školstva ima samo dva objavljena rada, a jedan od radova je sa Fakulteta za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti u Osijeku.The first part of the paper describes the life and work of Maria Montessori and the principles of Montessori pedagogy, while in the second part the paper reviews the Montessori pedagogy. In the systematic review of literature, the following keywords were used: Montessori pedagogy, Montessori approach, Montessori scientific paper, Montessori literature, review of Montessori literature and effects of Montessori pedagogy.     Poticajno razredno ozračje: elementi uspješnosti poučavanja

    S obzirom na brojnost definicija razrednog ozračja česta su razilaženja u određenju njegovih sastavnica zbog čega se ovim istraživanjem žele ispitati stavovi učitelja o elementima uspješnosti poučavanja koji razredno ozračje čine poticajnim za učenje. Stoga, ovaj rad razmatra sposobnosti učitelja za stvaranje poticajnog razrednog ozračja, učestalost korištenja nastavnih oblika, metoda rada i strategija poučavanja te mogućnost prilagodbe razrednog okruženja kao ključne elemente uspješnosti poučavanja za stvaranje poticajnog razrednog ozračja. Rad se sastoji od teorijskih koncepata koji obuhvaćaju determiniranje pojma razredno ozračje i navedenih elemenata uspješnosti, a to su kompetentnost učitelja, suvremeno aktivno poučavanje te razredno okruženje. Kao instrument za metodološki dio istraživanja konstruiran je upitnik sastavljen od tri skale (sveukupno 58 čestica) od kojih je svaka predodređena za jedan navedeni element uspješnosti poučavanja. Zaključak sažeto predstavlja cjeloviti prikaz rada koji obuhvaća iznošenje vlastitog mišljenja i stavova o prethodnim i novim spoznajama te prijedlog za moguća nova istraživanja na temu razrednog ozračja.Given the number of classroom environment definitions, there are frequent variations in the definition of its constituents, which is why this research aims to examine teachers' attitudes about the elements of schooling attainment that make the classroom an incentive podium for learning. Therefore, this paper considers the ability of a teacher to create a stimulating classroom atmosphere, the frequency of use of teaching formats, work methodologies and schooling strategies as well as the ability to adapt the classroom environment as a key element of teaching efficacy to create a stimulating classroom atmosphere. VII The paper consists of theoretical concepts that encompass the definition of the concept of the classroom environment and therefore mentioned elements of efficacy, namely teacher competence, proactive contemporary teaching, and classroom environment. As a mechanism for the methodological part of the research, a questionnaire composed of three scales (a total of 58 fragments) has been constructed, each of which is predetermined for one of the mentioned elements of teaching efficacy. The concluding summary is a complete overview of the works that encompasses the presentation of their own opinions and attitudes about the previous and new experiences, furthermore, in the aftermath of the day, a proposal for possible new research on the topic of a classroom environment

    Isolation and characterisation of natural and recombinant allergens from green kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa Liang, Ferguson) for allergy diagnosis and therapy

    Zamena alergenih ekstrakata pojedinačnim prirodnim i rekombinantnim alergenima udijagnostici alergije je obećavajući koncept i naziva se dijagnostika razdvojena nakomponente CRD (engl. component-resolved diagnosis). U tom smislu, neophodno jeproceniti alergeni potencijal svakog pojedinačnog kandidata za primenu u CRD.U ovoj tezi ocenjivane su biohemijske i alergene osobine cistein proteaznog inhibitora(nCPI) iz ploda zelenog kivija. Prečišćeni nCPI pokazao je IgE reaktivnosti in vitro (dotblot) i in vivo (kožne probe i aktivacija bazofila), dok je IgG reaktivnost pokazana uWestern blotu i ELISA-i. Biološka aktivnost je ocenjena ispitivanjem antimikrobnogpotencijala nCPI naspram tri soja fitopatogenih bakterija (A. tumefaciens, B. cepacia i umanjem obimu bakterije E. carotovora) kao i dva izolata fitopatogenih gljiva (A.radicina i B.cinerea), kako in vitro, tako i in vivo. Zbog slabe zastupljenosti nCPI uplodu kivija kodirajuća sekvenca nCPI je efikasno eksprimirana u Escherichia coli.Molekulska identičnost rCPI u odnosu na prirodni molekul pokazana je strukturnim(maseni otisak prsta) i imunohemijskim (imunoblot i ELISA) i biološkim (inhibicijaproteazne aktivnosti papaina i rasta fitopatogenih gljiva) testovima. Na osnovudobijenih rezultata jasno je da je CPI klinički relevantan alergen i kao takav trebalo bida bude uključen u dijagnostiku alergije na kivi razdvojenu na komponente.Standardni imunoterapijski pristup u tretmanu alergije na hranu nije adekvatan zbogvisokog rizika, pa je primena hipoalergenih molekula koji smanjeno vezuju IgE obećavajući koncept. Diverzifikacija gena za aktinidin rađena je lančanom reakcijompolimeraze sklone greškama epPCR (engl. error-prone PCR) koja je praćenakloniranjem biblioteke u Aga2 ekspresioni sistem za ekspresiju na površini ćelijakvasca. Nakon tri runde sortiranja, nasumično odabrani klonovi su dalje analizirani dotblotom i ELISA testom koristeći serum 6 osoba alergičnih na kivi U poređenju saprirodnim i rekombinantnim aktinidinom, dva mutanata su pokazala smanjenusposobnost aktivacije bazofila...The replacement of fruit allergen extracts with component-resolved allergens seems tobe a promising concept. In this regard, the evaluation of allergenic properties of aparticular allergen candidate for component-resolved diagnosis needs to be performed.In this study evaluation of the biochemical and allergenic properties of cysteineproteinase inhibitor purified from green kiwifruit (nCPI) was performed. The IgEreactivity was detected both in vitro (dot blot) and in vivo (skin prick test and basophileactivation assay), while IgG rectivity in both Western blot analysis nd ELISA test.Biological activity was assesed by examining the growth inhibition of three plantpathogenic bacterial strains (A.tumefaciens, B. cepacia and, to a lesser extent, E.carotovora) and two phytopathogenic fungi (A. radicina and B. cinerea) both in vitroand in vivo. Due to low abundance of nCPI molecule in kiwifruit the coding sequence ofkiwi CPI was efficiently expressed in Escherichia coli. Molecular identity of rCPI to itsnatural counterpart has been clearly demonstrated in structural (mass fingerprint),immunological (immunoblot and ELISA inhibition) and biological sense (inhibition ofpapain proteolytic activity and antifungal activity). Based on the obtained results it isclear that nCPI is a clinically relevant kiwifruit allergen, and as such should be involvedin the component-resolved diagnosis of kiwifruit allergy.Standard immunotherapeutic approaches in food allergy are not adequate due tounacceptably high risk-to-benefit ratio, however hypoallergenic forms of molecules with reduced IgE binding potential seem to be promising concept. Diversification of thegene encoding the mature form of the actinidin was done via error prone PCR, followedby cloning of the library into the Aga2 yeast surface display expression system. Afterthree rounds of sorting by FACS, randomly picked colonies were further analyzed bydot blot and ELISA using pool of 6 kiwifruit allergic patients. Compared to both naturaland recombinant wild type actinidin two of the mutants exhibited diminished ability toactivate basophils.
