La gestione del patrimonio culturale di libero accesso delle pubbliche amministrazioni emiliano-romagnole

Le pubbliche amministrazioni detengono un consistente numero di materiali digitali, un vero e proprio patrimonio culturale che spesso però non riesce a raggiungere un numero consistente di utilizzatori. La gestione disaggregata e disgiunta è uno dei principali fattori che frenano la diffusione e la condivisione di tali contenuti. Nell’ambito del Piano telematico dell’Emilia-Romagna (PITER) ci si propone di valorizzare la rete a banda larga delle PA emilia-romagnole LEPIDA creando una piattaforma di gestione di documenti digitali e di erogazione multicanale e multimediale a disposizione degli EELL della regione. "CARI AMICI E AMICHE ALL'ASCOLTO": GIANNA MANZINI ALLA RADIOE ALLA TELEVISIONE

Il presente lavoro costituisce la prima ricostruzione del lavoro di Gianna Manzini alla radio e alla televisione, che comincia nel 1947 e si conclude nel 1968. Gli interventi radiofonici sono divisi in trasmissioni di moda e costume e di critica letteraria (capitolo 1) e racconti scritti per la radio (capitolo 3); le trasmissioni televisive sono ripartite in sceneggiature realizzate e non realizzate (capitolo 3). I testi dei programmi sono stati identificati nei fondi archivistici della Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori di Milano, dell’Archivio del Novecento dell’Università La Sapienza di Roma e della Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma. Il lavoro si basa dunque sulla descrizione e l’analisi di materiale inedito, come L’Almanacco dei sogni e Il paesaggio come fatto personale, e le sceneggiature Il grande indiscreto, Il nome di battesimo e Alfredino. La ricognizione ha dimostrato come Gianna Manzini possedesse una consapevolezza mediatica tale da essere in grado di adattare il proprio stile alle specifiche esigenze del mezzo di comunicazione. Tuttavia, l’attività radio-televisiva non può essere considerata del tutto autonoma e disgiunta dalla carriera letteraria, con la quale intrattiene un rapporto strettissimo e osmotico.This research aims at providing a first and thorough description of Gianna Manzini’s work for the Italian Broadcasting (RAI), a collaboration which started in 1947 and ended in 1968. Her works for the radio are divided into fashion and literary criticism broadcasting (chapter 1) and original radio screenplays (chapter 2); her works for the television are divided into broadcasted and non broadcasted scripts (chapter 3). The texts of these programmes have been found in the following archives: Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori (Milan), Archivio del Novecento, Università La Sapienza (Rome) and Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale (Rome). The thesis both describes and analyzes original and unpublished works and screenplays, such as L’Almanacco dei sogni, Il paesaggio come fatto personale, Il grande indiscreto, Il nome di battesimo and Alfredino. In the end, the research showed evidence that Gianna Manzini was well aware that different media require different writing characteristics and was able to act accordingly. Nonetheless, her literary and broadcasting activity cannot be considered as two separate carriers, being actually strictly bound to each other

Ambizioni e strumentalizzazioni culturali come risposta alla crisi. Discorsi e metamorfosi urbane a Cagliari

Ambitions and cultural exploitations in response to the crisis. Discourses and urban metamorphosis in Cagliari. – This contribution reflects on how the cultural dimension is embedded in the "narrative" on the city (Cagliari) as a pos-sible answer to the problems of the current economic and social crisis. Our hypothesis is that the use of "miraculous" values of culture is the 'Trojan Horse' to legitimize neoliberal policies and actions on the city, where almost get confused public interventions of actual value but also speculative interests of private individuals. This hypothesis is argued by analyzing the speeches and achievements of some projects based on ex-plicit cultural and symbolic values, ambitions and/or exploitations. These also involve the ambition of a projection of the city on the international scene: from "Cagliari capital of the Mediterranean" to "Cagliari Europe-an Capital of Culture

Le biblioteche nel Mezzogiorno

Available data about southern Italian public libraries are few and not uniform; however, this situation is known to be structurally weak and far from service levels of central and northern areas of the country. The article analyzes statistics and recent studies about libraries and emphasizes the positive and negative role played by southern regions. The result is that in southern public libraries, too often, the lack of legislative and political attention causes missed investments in suitable structures and staff training and the citizens have huge difficulties to benefit from least levels of library services

Public Libraries and Lifelong Learning

This literature review examines the role of public libraries in supporting lifelong learning (LLL). The first part considers the impact of recent economic and social changes in the field of education. Thanks to official documents, the paper tries to answer the question on how is it possible to transform the information society into the learning society? The new learning culture is largely described besides focusing on the concept of LLL. The second part describes the themes related to the new role of libraries and librarians involved in LLL services. When public libraries, between the 1990s and the 2000s, are recognized as the pillars for a democratic knowledge society, the position of the libraries in the communities changes, thanks to cooperation and new partnerships into the formal, non formal and informal education system. Besides the infrastructures, the networks and the provision of services, libraries offer neutral and supportive local learning settings. As demonstrated by the experiences in the field of Information Literacy, guidance and training constitute the strategic value of libraries. In order to achieve the democratic goals of an inclusive society, libraries have to pay attention to their public and to the different needs of their users. This new scenario ask librarians to become agents of change, prepared to meet the new demands of technology and, morover, of people. New information professionals need new qualifications and professional recognition, into a perspective of a lifelong career. This study dedicates a part to the Italian case, in order to understand the state of the art of the role of public libraries in LLL in this geographical area and comparing the situation with that of other European countries. The final part offers a recognition of the main trends and problems related to the role of public libraries and LLL. In some areas it is evident a gap between the international policy and the current practices
