Survival probability of surface excitations in a 2d lattice: non-Markovian effects and Survival Collapse
The evolution of a surface excitation in a two dimentional model is analyzed.
I) It starts quadratically up to a spreading time t_{S}. II) It follows an
exponential behavior governed by a self-consistent Fermi Golden Rule. III) At
longer times, the exponential is overrun by an inverse power law describing
return processes governed by quantum diffusion. At this last transition time
t_{R} a survival collapse becomes possible, bringing the survival probability
down by several orders of magnitude. We identify this strongly destructive
interference as an antiresonance in the time domain.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures. Braz. Journ. of Phys., in press. Braz. Journ. of

Hamilton - Jacobi treatment of front-form Schwinger model
The Hamilton-Jacobi formalism was applied to quantize the front-form
Schwinger model. The importance of the surface term is discussed in detail. The
BRST-anti-BRST symmetry was analyzed within Hamilton-Jacobi formalism.Comment: 11 pages, to be published in Int. Journ. Mod. Phys.
Models of electron transport in single layer graphene
The main features of the conductivity of doped single layer graphene are
analyzed, and models for different scattering mechanisms are presented.Comment: 15 pages. Submitted to the Proceedings of the ULTI symposium on

Sharp growth estimates for dyadic -input theorems
The following deals with the theorems of David, Journ\'e, and Semmes
\cite{DJS} considered in a dyadic setting. We find sharp growth estimates for a
global and a local dyadic Theorem. We use multiscale analysis and Haar
wavelets in the local case.Comment: 15 page
Highest weight irreducible representations of the Lie superalgebra
Two classes of irreducible highest weight modules of the general linear Lie
superalgebra are constructed. Within each module a basis is
introduced and the transformation relations of the basis under the action of
the algebra generators are written down.Comment: 24 pages, TeX; Journ. Math. Phys. (to be published
Charge asymmetry of top quark-antiquark pairs
In this note we present the charge asymmetry measurements of top
quark-antiquark pairs at hadron colliders. We will focus on the dilepton
channel at ATLAS (LHC) and D0 (Tevatron).Comment: 4 pages, 8 figures, proceedings for the "Journ\'ees de Rencontre des
