Liver or hepar is one of the very complex and all important organ in metabolism in body. Liver often become target organ because getting mixed up with chemical metabolism which have the character of toxic and also free radical. the free radical and toxic chemical can cause damage of cell, network, macromolecules and also membrane. Activity of the free radical can be weakened by existence of an antioksidan. Basically hepar the functioningness as system defence of body it is of course also have antioksidan the good enoughness, however caused by hit liver shares free radical hence liver activity not maximal, so that require to be given by antioksidan coming from outside body. In so many plant medicinize a lot of consisting in vitaminses able to share antioksidan one of them is Meniran ( Phyllantus Niruri L.). Active Compound at meniran which is have potency as antioksidan is flavonoid. Intention of this research is to know effect of extract herba meniran in normal rate bilirubin total of white mouse serum and to know extract concentration of herba meniran which is effective peling in normal rate bilirubin total of white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4. This Research have the character of True Experiment of Research ( real research) by using Complete Random Device ( divided RAL) to become 5 treatment and 5 restating, that is ; Normal ( I), CCL4 ( II), Extract of Herba Meniran dose 5 + CCL4 ( III), Extract of Herba Meniran dose 10 + CCL4 ( IV), and also extract of herba dose meniran 15 + CCL4 ( V). Analysis Data which used in this research is; Test of Normalitas, Test Homogeneity, Test one way ANAVA and Test of Duncan with level 5%. obtained result of this research indicate that extract of herba meniran with dose 5%, ! 0% and 15% can degrade again rate of bilirubin white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4. Pursuant to Test of Duncan 5%, can know that extract concentration of herba most effective meniran in degrading rate of bilirubin white mouse serum is dose 15%. Thereby, in this research can be proved that Extract herba meniran can degrade again rate of bilirubin total of white mouse serum which induceed by CCL4

This paper presents a qualitative study on teens' self-representational strategies on social networking sites (SNS) in Spain, focusing on the gender bias in identity construction work. We looked at which representational strategies teenagers used in order to attract their peers and how they negotiated meanings of desirability. The research was conducted with 32 Spanish teenagers who participated in discussion groups and individual home interviews. Results show how participants used sexualization and playfulness as two intertwined strategies for negotiating their identities and managing relationships on Facebook and Tuenti. The participants constantly displayed themselves, testing their image on peers, even if this put their privacy and sexual reputation at risk. Findings also show that both boys and girls handled a (sexual) double standard when judging each other's displays

Not Everything in Textbooks is True: teaching discourse analysis to undergraduate business students

Coventry University adopted the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Management in 2007 and the Business School has taken up the challenge to embed these important principles throughout their course offerings in order to provide the very best education for future business leaders. ‘Managing Business Responsibly’ is a final-year, undergraduate module which grew partly out of some of the author's teaching. The module poses a series of critical challenges to students and in the first few weeks many find it uncomfortable as the theories drawn upon are not those generally found within a business course. Within the module students are invited to think of themselves as agents of change in the broadest sense and to carefully consider those aspects of their future organisations that they might be able to influence. The module team have to work extremely hard to manage student anxiety around the coursework and have to repeatedly stress that discourse analysis is an invaluable critical thinking tool.N/

Good question, nice answer, but why without happiness?

In their book "How much is enough?" Robert and Edward Skidelsky observe that philosophers and societies have always been critical about greed and insatiability. The pursuit of money and possessions was always subordinated to higher ideals, which were associated with views on ‘the good life’. This subordination led to standards about appropriateness and enoughness. This morality is gone. Dominant economic thinking accepts greed and insatiability as guiding principles. The needs of people are supposed to be unlimited and economic growth is supposed to create more well-being automatically. The Skidelskys reject this theory. They believe this theory has led to a rat-race in rich countries with adverse effects. They present an interesting proposal: let us make a list of things that are necessary for the good life, and together also sufficient. They think of features like health, safety, harmony with nature and leisure. Their list is acceptable, but such lists are always somewhat arbitrary and can easily lead to paternalism. Such dangers are smaller if subjective happiness is added. It is, however, fascinating and reassuring that the specific proposals of the Skidelskys contribute to more individual freedom. A basic income in particular creates more freedom to stay out of the rat-race, or to participate less intensively

An Investigation into the Enoughness Mindset

The concept of enoughness was an old but forgotten concept in human history. This research reintroduced the concept to our contemporary culture as a means to deal with consumers\u27 endless desires by exploring the enoughness concept. Contemporarily suppressed under the development of modern capitalism, an extensive mythological trace of the enoughness concept showed its existence through more than 25 centuries across cultures with four key components: reining in desires, knowing contentment, knowing when to stop, and consideration of harmony. Building upon theories of desires, this research positioned enoughness as a means to help tame consumers\u27 endless desires that can be damaging to themselves, society, and the environment. This research explored and developed an understanding of the sense of enoughness in contemporary culture using a qualitative exploration with 36 in-depth interviews. Participants were purposefully selected to capture different backgrounds related to age, gender, education, family life cycle, income, career, ethnicity, and origin. The findings from the qualitative research confirmed the existence of EM and its dimensions in history and in consumer’s minds. The results were then used to develop an EM scale. The empirical testing also provided further evidence of the existence of EM and its structure. Additionally, the qualitative exploration was utilized to refine and propose a comprehensive research model to further explore the construct in the future

    Design for Existential Crisis

What should designers do with their design skills and orientation to the future as right-wing populism sweeps through politics; climate predictions worsen; mass migration (within/across countries) escalates refugee numbers; new classes of automation threaten workers’ jobs and austerity policies destabilize society? What is to be done when it isn’t “business as usual” and even broken concepts of progress seem no longer to be progressing? In this paper, we discuss aspects of humanity, such as the need for meaning, fulfillment, dignity and decency, which computers struggle to support but can easily undermine. We juxtapose design that offers hope with that which offers only distraction and conclude with a plea to avoid Bovine Design, or tools that encourage passivity, rote-behavior and a blinkered existence at a time of great uncertainty and change. The big question that alt-chi can ask for 2017 is: What is good design for existential crisis
