Decision Support System Architecture, Hardware, and Operating System Platforms
DSS (Decision Support System) / Sistem Pendukung Keputusan adalah sistem informasi berbasis komputer yang tujuan utamanya adalah menyediakan informasi yang bisa menjadi dasar untuk pengambilan keputusan. Seperti sebuah perangkat lunak komputer berada dalam suatu lingkungan terintegrasi antara perangkat keras dengan sistem operasinya. Begitu pula dalam perencanaan DSS, bagaimana membangun DSS yang dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu DSS memerlukan arsitektur komputer yang tepat dalam pengaplikasiannya, meliputi perangkat keras dengan sistem operasi yang mendukung, memilih kombinasi yang tepat dan, atau dengan kata lain, arsitektur komputer yang tepat dapat membuat DSS berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien dan demikian pula sebaliknya.  
Perancangan Decision Support System Pemilihan Varietas Unggul Padi Rawa Menggunakan Metode Fuzzy-weighted Product
Peningkatan produktivitas padi lahan rawa dapat dilakukan dengan pemilihan varietas padi yang tepat. Pengalihan dari varietas lokal ke varietas unggul diperlukan karena varietas lokal memiliki umur panen lama dan potensi hasil yang rendah, walaupun rasa dan tekstur nasinya disukai oleh masyarakat setempat. Pemilihan varietas unggul kemudian menjadi permasalahan tersendiri karena terdapat banyak varietas unggul yang masing-masing mempunyai karakteristik berbeda-beda, sehingga pemilihan tersebut harus didasarkan pada sejumlah kriteria yang hendak dipenuhi. Model decision support system digunakan untuk membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan dimana outputnya adalah varietas padi yang direkomendasikan oleh sistem. Kriteria yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan adalah potensi hasil, rata-rata hasil, umur panen, ketahanan terhadap hama wereng coklat, serta tekstur nasi yang dihasilkan. Metode pengambilan keputusan dalam penelitian ini adalah fuzzy-weighted product. Pengujian model dilakukan untuk menghitung besar nilai preferensi tiap alternatif, dalam hal ini varietas padi unggul. Alternatif yang dipilih adalah yang memiliki nilai preferensi tertinggi dibanding alternatif lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya, diperoleh varietas unggul padi rawa yang mempunyai nilai preferensi terbesar adalah INPARA 1 dengan nilai preferensi V=0.159
Decision Support System Tool Untuk Penyelesaian Permasalahan Linear Berbasis Simplex Dan Revised Simplex
Pada permasalahan optimasi sumber daya, baik itu minimalisasi biaya ataupun maksimalisasi keuntungan,yang bersifat linear, dapat dibuat sebuah tool yang berguna untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahantersebut sehingga didapat hasil kombinasi sumber daya yang optimal. Sistem ini dirancang untuk dapatmenangani berbagai bidang permasalahan linier karena sifatnya yang terbuka. DSS tool ini akan menggunakanmetode penyelesaian simplex atau revised simplex dalam membantu penyelesaian permasalahannya. Namunsebelum menerapkan permasalahan linear yang dihadapi pada tool yang telah dibuat, terlebih dahulu perluuntuk melakukan pembentukan model matematika dari permasalahan tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan DSS toolini, maka semua permasalahan linear akan dapat diselesaikan dengan tepat dan cepat
Development of Decision Support System Determining the Student as Scholarship Recipients by Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (Fmadm)
This research is the design of a decision support system (DSS) to determining the student as scholarship recipients of the STMIK Pelita Nusantara, Medan, Indonesia, with the approach of Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) with TOPSIS method. Approach to Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) by specifying the values of the weights for each of the criteria or attributes and TOPSIS method for selecting student scholarship recipients. Implementation of a decision support system that can show the interaction of the user with the software application built using Visual Basic 2008 programming language. Conclusion the results obtained from the discussion shows that the approach with FMADM TOPSIS give final value calculation results ordered that can help decision makers determine the student deserves the scholarship. Design of Decision Support System Selection of Beach Tourism Object in GunungKidul Using Fuzzy AHP Method
The tourism industry is currently one of the important assessments for a certain region. Gunungkidul has a lot of of beach tourism potentials until visitors are confused to choose the right beach. The purpose of this research is to analyze and apply Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method in calculating the selection of beach tourism object in Gunungkidul with eight main criteria into a website.Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) is a decision-making method to establish the best alternative of a number of alternatives based on several criteria that will be considered. One method of MCDM is the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method. Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process is a method of developing Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which can describe unclear decisions and minimize uncertainty on AHP. Fuzzy approach, especially triangular fuzzy number to AHP scale, is expected to minimize uncertainty so that expected result was obtained more accurately.The decision support system for choosing a beach resort in Gunungkidul has been successfully built by applying the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The calculation of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method with the same computer result with manual calculation. The testing system was done using Black Box method by testing Alpha and Betha. From the results of system testing, it was known that the average result of the overall function score was 104 which was on rating scale 97.51 - 120 (Very Good)
