ΠΠΈΠΊΡΠΎΠ±ΠΈΠΎΡΠ° Π±ΠΎΠΊΡΠΈΡΠΎΠ² ΠΌΠ΅ΡΡΠΎΡΠΎΠΆΠ΄Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΠ²Π° (ΠΠ²ΠΈΠ½Π΅Ρ-ΠΠΈΡΠ°Ρ)
The important role of the biogenic factor in sedimentary ore genesis now, after more than a hundred years after the publication of V. I. Vernadskyβs and Ya. V. Samoylovβs papers, has become an indisputable fact for everyone. Discussions mainly take place as to how productive the activity of organisms was in the formation of specific exploitable minerals. In 2004, a joint monograph of Russian geologists βBiomorphic Structures in Bauxiteβ was published. Using the examples of dozens of deposits of a huge stratigraphic range from the Late Proterozoic age to the Quaternary period and wide geographic range (Africa, Eurasia, Australia and America), active participation of various microbial communities in the bauxite formation was shown in the monograph. This article demonstrates new results of electron microscopic study of ores from Eva bauxite deposit, which is little known in Russia, and continues researching this topic, which was initiated by E. L. Microbiota of Bauxites in the Eva Deposit (Guinea-Bissau)
Abstract: Now more than one century after the publication of works of V.I. Vernadsky and Ya.V. Samoilov, important role of the biogenic factor in the sedimentary ore genesis has become an undeniable fact for all geologists. Discussions at present are concerned mainly with creative nature of the activity of organisms in the formation of specified mineral resources. In the collective monograph of Russian geologists βBiomorphic Structures of Bauxitesβ published in 2004, based on studying several tens of deposits with a vast age (Late Proterozoic to Quaternary) range and geographic setting (Africa, Eurasia, Australia, and America), active participation of different microbial communities in the bauxite formation was demonstrated. Accomplishment of SEM studies of ores from the Eva bauxite deposit (Guinea-Bissau), an object little known in Russia, continues research works in this field initiated by E.L. Shkolβnik.
