Iqbal’s thoughts paved the way for a progressive society in the Indo-Pak subcontinent. We would not be wrong in saying that it was the essence of Iqbal’s work which was evident in the voice of the progressive writers who rose for change, equality, and literature for all. There is no doubt that they have been anti against some of Iqbal’s thought processes but it is also true that Iqbal’s work was not only speculation but an epitome of change which many scholars themselves followed. Iqbal was in favor of such a society where all the humanity could collaborate and progress together where he did not want such a society for the Muslim world only but the whole world. It is this philosophical landmark of his that makes him a leading international poet. His concept of an ideal society based on human psychology is based on the knowledge of the Quran and Hadith. It is due to this reason that his teachings are misinterpreted before the third world as being controversial to demoralize them and hence affecting their courage and confidence while on the other hand, the developing world follows the same ideology for their existence and perseverance. Along with Iqbal’s work on the progressive society, in this article, it would also be inspected how much these rules and regulations of Iqbal are introduced for such societies implementable. Is Iqbal’s vision a fictitious marvel or following the ground realities? We will also throw light on the facts that If Iqbal’s knowledge, rules, and regulations introduced by him can bring actual happiness to a person or all his work has only been for the sole purpose of getting fame

Objective: To determine the outcome of preterm neonates with the early introduction of bubble continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). Methodology: This observational study was conducted in NICU of Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad from March 2017 to August 2017. Ninety preterm infants were enrolled with a gestational age of 28 to 37 weeks and with the clinical features of Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS). Infant variables that were recorded were birth weight, gestational age, and severity of RDS and Fio2 requirement. Bubble CPAP was started at 5cm of water and FiO2 adjusted to maintain SpO2 of 87 to 95%. The SPSS 26 version was used to analyze data. The Chi square test was used, with a P value of <0.05 considered significant. Results: The study included 90 neonates who were clinically diagnosed with RDS. To treat RDS, CPAP was started at the mean age of 5.27 hours of life with a standard deviation of 2.66 hours. 11 out of 90 (11.22%) babies had chest X-ray findings in favor of severe RDS; while X-rays of the remaining 79 (88.78%) showed mild to moderate RDS. Conclusion: CPAP is of valuable importance in low resource countries with a lack of ventilators and provides an adequate and conservative treatment method of mild to moderate RDS for preterm neonates. However, in cases of severe RDS, intubation and mechanical ventilation are often necessary

The aim of this study was to investigate the psychological effects of flooding on secondary school children in the Rajanpur, Jampur, Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Fazalpur districts. A total of 150 students from public schools in flood-affected areas participated in the study, which used a non-probability convenience sampling approach and a self-administered questionnaire to collect data. The collected information was then analyzed using descriptive statistics, such as percentage and mean scores, with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The study found that the majority of students experienced negative psychological impacts from the flooding, including impacts on their emotional, mental, and academic development. Although both male and female students were affected, females experienced higher levels of psychological effects. This study highlights the importance of reducing flood risk before disasters occur, which can greatly reduce the devastating effects of floods. To effectively manage risks, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the causes and risks associated with flooding
