Dispositional mindfulness and mental health in Chinese emerging adults: a multilevel model with emotion dysregulation as a mediator
Using a multilevel model, this study examined emotion dysregulation as a mediator between dispositional mindfulness and mental health among Chinese emerging adults. Participants were 191 Chinese emerging adults (female = 172) between 18 and 27 years old (M = 21.06 years, SD = 2.01 years), who completed a questionnaire that assessed their dispositional mindfulness, emotion dysregulation, and mental health outcomes for three times over 12 months, with a three-month lag between each time point. Within-person analysis revealed that emotion dysregulation mediated between dispositional mindfulness and mental health outcomes, including subjective well-being and symptoms of depression and anxiety. Time was positively associated with emotion dysregulation and negatively associated with symptoms of depression and anxiety. Between-person analysis revealed that emotion dysregulation negatively mediated between dispositional mindfulness and symptoms of depression and anxiety, but not subjective well-being. These findings call attention to within-person versus between-person effects of emotion dysregulation as a mediator between dispositional mindfulness and psychological outcomes, particularly of symptoms of depression and anxiety. Attesting to the relations established in western societies, the relations are also applicable to emerging adults in the Chinese context. Evidence was thus advanced to inform translational research efforts that promote mindfulness and emotion regulation as assets of mental health
The decay rate of to in SM and beyond
With rapid growth of the database of the BES III and the proposed super
flavor factory, measurement on the rare decays may be feasible,
especially the weak decays into baryon final states. In this work we study the
decay rate of to in the SM and
physics beyond the SM (here we use the unparticle model as an example). The QPC
model is employed to describe the creation of a pair of from vacuum.
We find that the rate of is
at order of in the SM, whereas the contribution of the unparticle is
too small to be substantial. Therefore if a large branching ratio is observed,
it must be due to new physics beyond SM, but by no means the unparticle.Comment: 9 pages, 1 figure
Search for via the transition at LHCb and factory
It is interesting to study the characteristics of the whole family of
which contains two different heavy flavors. LHC and the proposed factory
provide an opportunity because a large database on the family will be
achieved. and its excited states can be identified via their decay modes.
As suggested by experimentalists, is not easy to be
clearly measured, instead, the trajectories of and occurring in
the decay of () can be unambiguously
identified, thus the measurement seems easier and more reliable, therefore this
mode is more favorable at early running stage of LHCb and the proposed

the experimental measurements with the luminosity of LHC and factory are

The magnetic dipole transitions in the binding system
The magnetic dipole transitions between the vector mesons and their
relevant pseudoscalar mesons (, , , ,
and etc, the binding states of system) of
the family are interesting. To see the `hyperfine' splitting due to
spin-spin interaction is an important topic for understanding the spin-spin
interaction and the spectrum of the the binding system. The
knowledge about the magnetic dipole transitions is also very useful for
identifying the vector boson mesons experimentally, whose masses are
just slightly above the masses of their relevant pseudoscalar mesons
accordingly. Considering the possibility to observe the vector mesons via the
transitions at factory and the potentially usages of the theoretical
estimate on the transitions, we fucus our efforts on calculating the magnetic
dipole transitions, i.e. precisely to calculate the rates for the transitions
such as decays and , and particularly
work in the Behte-Salpeter framework. In the estimate, as a typical example, we
carefully investigate the dependance of the rate

An Investigation of Willingness to Pay for Geopark Management and Conservation: A Case Study of Geotourists in the Greater China Region
Willingness to pay (WTP) for geological protection is essential for market-based geopark conservation tactic formulations. Whether geotourists are willing to pay and how much they prefer to pay might be influenced by different determinants. The present study aims to (1) investigate the probability of paying and the payment amount for geopark conservation and (2) examine how factors influence the intention and amount to pay for the upkeep of geoparks. The results suggest that geotourists would contribute financially to geological conservation and geopark management. The findings also revealed that geotouristsâ intentions and payment for conservation were associated with educational background and monthly income level. In addition, geotourist attachment and satisfaction concerning visiting geoparks positively affected intention and payment. This study might provide empirical references for geopark management and conservation in the Greater China Region
Understanding the Determinants of Geologically Responsible Behaviour among Geotourists: A Multi-Destination Analysis
This study explores the drivers of geologically responsible behaviour among geotourists in three geoparks in the Greater China region: Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark in southern China, Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark, and Yehliu Geopark in northern Taiwan. On-site questionnaire surveys were conducted, collecting over 800 respondents in these geoparks, and structural equation modelling was applied for our analysis. The findings reveal that geologically responsible behaviour is positively associated with environmentally responsible attitudes, in line with some previous research. Notably, place attachment and visitor satisfaction were not directly related to geologically responsible behaviour but were positively correlated with environmentally responsible attitudes. This suggests that emotional connections to geoparks and visitor satisfaction indirectly nurture environmentally responsible attitudes, subsequently leading to geologically responsible behaviour. These results offer practical implications for geopark management practices. Providing informative guided tours and quality informational materials can enhance visitorsâ geological knowledge and foster environmentally responsible attitudes. The improvement of the visitor experience, combined with the dissemination of accurate environmental knowledge and conservation messaging, can enhance visitor satisfaction, deepen attachment to geoparks, and, ultimately, encourage more geologically responsible behaviours. Understanding these relationships can assist geotourism destinations in promoting geological resourcesâ conservation while enhancing the visitor experience
D-branes with Lorentzian signature in the Nappi-Witten model
Lorentzian signature D-branes of all dimensions for the Nappi-Witten string
are constructed. This is done by rewriting the gluing condition for
the model chiral currents on the brane as a well posed first order differential
problem and by solving it for Lie algebra isometries other than Lie algebra
automorphisms. By construction, these D-branes are not twined conjugacy
classes. Metrically degenerate D-branes are also obtained.Comment: 22 page
Infinitely many N=2 SCFT with ADE flavor symmetry
We present evidence that for each ADE Lie group G there is an infinite tower of 4D N = 2 SCFTs, which we label as D(G, s) with s 08 \u2115, having (at least) flavor symmetry G. For G = SU(2), D(SU(2),s) coincides with the Argyres-Douglas model of type D8+1, while for larger flavor groups the models are new (but for a few previously known examples). When its flavor symmetry G is gauged, D(G,s) contributes to the Yang-Mills beta-function as 8/2(+1) adjoint hypermultiplets. The argument is based on a combination of Type IIB geometric engineering and the categorical deconstruction of arXiv: 1203.6743. One first engineers a class of N = 2 models which, trough the analysis of their category of quiver representations, are identified as asymptotically-free gauge theories with gauge group G coupled to some conformal matter system. Geometric construction of D-branes in WZW models
The geometric description of D-branes in WZW models is pushed forward. Our
starting point is a gluing condition\, that matches the model's
chiral currents at the worldsheet boundary through a linear map acting on
the WZW Lie algebra. The equivalence of boundary and gluing conditions of this
type is studied in detail. The analysis involves a thorough discussion of
Frobenius integrability, shows that must be an isometry, and applies to
both metrically degenerate and nondegenerate D-branes. The isometry need
not be a Lie algebra automorphism nor constantly defined over the brane. This
approach, when applied to isometries of the form with a constant Lie
algebra automorphism, validates metrically degenerate -twined conjugacy
classes as D-branes. It also shows that no D-branes exist in semisimple WZW
