Los principios de Rochdale y el cooperativismo cubano en la actualidad.

The present article is an analysis of the principles of cooperativism in Cuba, taking as reference the principles of International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) (as per acronym in English) and the main causes that limit the materialization of these principles are mentioned, and that demonstrated that even in Cuban conditions the contradiction between cooperativism of fact and cooperativism of law had taken place.With the updating of the Cuban economic model, in which new spaces and opportunitieshave been open for cooperatives, is important to get over the lack of cooperative of culture, the dispersion in normative and legal framework and the absence of an institution for promotion and development of cooperativism, paying particular attentionto cooperative education.These aspects must be included in the claimed and long-expected General Law of Cooperatives in Cuba.En el presente artículo se hace un análisis de los principios que rigen el movimiento cooperativo en Cuba tomando como referencia los principios de la Alianza Cooperativa Internacional (ACI) y se mencionan las principales causas que limitan la materialización práctica de dichos principios, las cuales están demostrando que, también, en las condiciones de Cuba tiene lugar la contradicción entre el cooperativismo de hecho y el de derecho. Con la actualización del modelo económico cubano, en el cual se abren nuevos espacios y oportunidades para las cooperativas, es importante que se superen la falta de cultura cooperativa, la dispersión en el marco legal y normativo y la ausencia de una institución dedicada al fomento y desarrollo del cooperativismo, poniendo especial énfasis en la educación cooperativa. Estos aspectos deben ser incluidos en la reclamada y esperada Ley General de Cooperativas en Cuba

Materialización de los principios cooperativos en la Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios “Benilde Orozco” (Original)

The improvement of agricultural cooperatives development programs to face growing needs of industries and population, demands that members of cooperatives and their leaders to know cooperative principles and play a significant role in its materialization; however, it isn´t completely reached. The objective of the present work is to analyze the level of knowlegement and implementation of the cooperative principles in Credit and Services Cooperative “Benilde Orozco”. As materials and methods were used dialectical materialistic and systemic approach, FODA analyzes, analyzes of documents, interview and participant observation. Was carried up the self-diagnosis, using tool named “Cooperative mirror”, created by World Food Program. Self-diagnosis allowed to determinate breaches between “to be” and “must be” about cooperative principles and was elaborated a relational matrix of breaches, its causes and the necessary actions to overcome it. The evaluation of this actions and its effect in two years (2020 – 2022) allowed to ascertain the advance in the solution of detected problems. As conclusions, was verified validity of proposals and was demonstrated that existed a low level of knowlegement about cooperative principles, that limited its implementation and that through qualification and other actions can be closed the breaches and to contribute to the development of the cooperative and communities where it is located.El perfeccionamiento de los programas de desarrollo de las cooperativas agropecuarias para dar respuesta a las crecientes necesidades de la industria y de la población, implica que los cooperativistas y sus líderes conozcan los principios cooperativos y jueguen un rol protagónico en su materialización; sin embargo, esto aún no se logra plenamente. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar el nivel de conocimiento e implementación de los principios cooperativos en la Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios “Benilde Orozco”. Entre los materiales y métodos utilizados, destacan el enfoque dialéctico materialista y el enfoque sistémico, el análisis FODA, el análisis de documentos, la entrevista grupal y la observación participante. Se llevó a cabo el autodiagnóstico, con el empleo de la herramienta “Espejo cooperativo” del Programa Mundial de Alimentos. A partir del autodiagnóstico, se determinaron las brechas entre el “ser” y el “deber ser” de los principios cooperativos y se elaboró una matriz de relacionamiento entre las brechas, sus causas y las acciones para superarlas. La evaluación de estas acciones y su impacto en dos años, del 2020 al 2022, ha permitido constatar el avance en la solución de los problemas detectados. Como conclusiones, se pudo verificar la validez de las medidas propuestas y quedó demostrado que existía un bajo nivel de conocimiento de los principios cooperativos, lo cual limitaba su implementación y que, a través de la capacitación y de otras acciones, se pueden cerrar las brechas y contribuir al desarrollo de la cooperativa y de la localidad en que se encuentra ubicada

El turismo rural, una alternativa para el desarrollo económico social del municipio Niquero (Original)

This research aims at designing an action plan to promote rural tourism development in the "Chino Díaz" farm in the municipality of Niquero. The dialectical-materialist method will be used as a general method as a research procedure to study the phenomenon in all its magnitude, constant movement, change and development. This will be complemented with the use of theoretical level methods such as the ascent from the abstract to the concrete to analyze the essence of the phenomenon studied and its concrete manifestations; the historical - logical, in order to analyze what has been done in the municipality in terms of rural tourism in respect to local development; analysis - synthesis, to obtain a broader understanding and vision of the object of study; the inductive - deductive, for the use and treatment of data. The Empirical methods: participant observation, interviews with producers of the farm under study and survey of municipal managers. A detailed documentary review will also be carried out, based on the consultation of the country's tourism policy. As a main result, an action plan will be obtained that will favor rural tourism in the "Chino Díaz" farm with the use of the rustic restaurants and the tour of the different areas of it, which borders the sea, for the enjoyment of nature, the productive culture and the connection with the community.La presente investigación persigue el objetivo de diseñar un plan de acciones para favorecer el desarrollo turístico rural en la finca “Chino Díaz” del municipio de Niquero. Se empleará como método general el dialéctico-materialista como procedimiento de investigación que estudia el fenómeno en toda su magnitud, este se complementará con la utilización de métodos del nivel teórico como el ascenso de lo abstracto, el histórico – lógico, el análisis – síntesis. De los métodos del nivel empírico: la observación participante, entrevista a productores de la finca objeto de estudio y encuesta a directivos del municipio. También se realizará una revisión documental detallada, a partir de la consulta de la política turística del país. Como principal resultado se obtendrá un plan de acciones que permitirá favorecer el turismo rural en la finca “Chino Díaz” con el aprovechamiento del ranchón y el recorrido por las diferentes áreas de la misma, que colinda con el mar, para el disfrute de la naturaleza, la cultura productiva y la vinculación con la comunidad
