DRAMATARI ARJA AT RADIO REPUBLIK INDONESIA (RRI) DENPASAR, BALI, INDONESIA

Dramatari Arja dance is one of classic drama tari or traditional theatrical dance that is favored by Balinese in Indonesia. Dramatari arja is known to Balinese as arja. This research aims to describeand analyze the script diseourse that is real by the drama characters on the stage. Two plays were chosen as the main subjects of the research, namely. Payuk Prungpung an Rareangon. The result of this research exhibits that significances given to character discourse of Payuk Prungpung an Rareangon are based on semiotic theory proposed by Ferdinand de Saussure. Discourse signifocances that were uncovened are as follows: religious significances, magic or mythic significances, and traditional significances which currently undergo decline in quantity due to globalization effect. In order not to be left behind by the public audience, the casts and arja notable figures should seek a solution as from of innovation

Religious Tourism Area: Maintenance and Equity to Bali Mandara

Teks geguritan I Gede Basur dan teks Geguritan I Ketut Bungkling, merupakan dua teksk geguritann nunik di Bali. Keunikannya terlihat pada keberadaan kedua teks tersebut ditengah-tengah masyarakatnya. Sebagai karya sastra tradisional, kedua teks ini sangat terkenal karena selain sering dibaca dan dinyanyikan oleh penggemar seni magegitan di Bali, kedua teks ini juga sebagai inspirasi dalam dunia pentas seni klasik di Bali. Tokoh I Gede Basur terkenal kehebatannya dalam menjalankan ilmu hitam; sedangkan tokoh I Ketut Bungkling terkenal sebagai tokoh yang sangat kritis terhadap lingkungannya. Anehnya, kedua teks ini sampai saat ini tidak ditemukan teks individualnya. Keterbacaan kekdua teks dimaksud dilakukan melalui teks yang berjudul Geguritan Kidung Prembon (KP). Penelusuran studi fdilakukan dengan ‘pisau bedah’ interteks dan resepsi untuk mengungkapkan jalinan teks dan proses keterbacaan kedua teks karya Ki Dalang Tangsub (Geguritan I Gede Basur dan teks Geguritan I Ketut Bungkling) atas teks Geguritan KIdung Prembon (KP). The present study was todiscuss the importance of revitalizing Balinase literature towards the children from an early age as an alternative against the radicalism seeds Indonesian currenty has a very serious problem, one of them was the growing understanding of radicalism that has a potential totheaten the sovereignty of the nation and the state of Indonesia. The radicalism idea must be soon opposed to the noble values contained in the oral literary tradition. On the early inculcation of the oral literary tradition for children, it could affect psychology and characterize the child who was oriented towards the noble values of culture in which the oral literature was born. Regarding the growth of cildrent’s awareness of the noble values of culture consist of in an oral literature, unlike the ethical and religious were very small.
