Vegetación de origen como parámetro de caracterización microbiana de los propóleos
The propolises are resinous complex sustances produced by bees. Their chemical composition is variable in accordingto the vegetal source. This study was realized with samples from northeast of Argentina. The aim of work were to checkthe fungicide and bactericide effects of etanolic solutions of propolis from different sites in Misiones province, on plantpathogens, considering the predominant vegetation in the original areas on the oxidation indexandfenolic compositions.As results in three studied areas the vegetation has been modified anthropically in different form, and the products arecorresponding with the introduced flora characteristics, composed of 7 different plant species in El Soberbio, 7 speciesin El Dorado and 10 species in Apostoles. The physic and chemical proprieties and therapeutic action in propolis fromthe three collection areas in the Misiones province were similar. The oxidation rate was different in the three study areas(7.37, 1.30 y 18.4), while the phenolic content showed no significant difference. Their antimicrobial activity to probedconcentrations (2, 4, 6, 8 y 10 %), don’t were effectives for control on the fungical strains but it is positive by the bacterial control of genus Bacillus.Los propóleos son sustancias resinosas complejas elaboradas por las abejas. Su composición química varía de acuerdo ala fuente vegetal. El estudio se realizó con muestras del noreste de Argentina. El objetivo del estudio fue comprobar elefecto fungicida y bactericida de soluciones etanólicas de propóleos procedentes de diferentes localidades de la provincia de Misiones sobre los fitopatógenos considerando la vegetación predominante en las áreas de origen sobre el índicede oxidación y el contenido de compuestos fenólicos. En las tres áreas estudiadas la vegetación ha sido modificadaantrópicamente en forma diferente y los productos se correspondieron con las características de la flora introducida,compuesta por 7 especies vegetales diferentes en El Soberbio, 7 especies en El Dorado y 10 especies en Apóstoles. Elíndice de oxidación fue diferente en las tres áreas de estudio (7.37, 1.30 y 18.4), mientras el contenido de compuestosfenólicos no mostró diferencias significativas. Su actividad antimicrobiana a las concentraciones ensayadas (2, 4, 6, 8 y10 %), no fueron efectivas en el control de cepas fúngicas probadas y si lo fueron sobre bacterias del género Bacillus

Physical parameters and organoleptic characteristics of propolis from the province of Misiones, Argentina
The propolises are complex resinous substances of nature origin, source whose characteristics confer him antibiotic proprieties and multiples applications. It was raised the propolis study of three locations of Misiones province, in order to determine the color, smell, taste and appearance organoleptic characteristics, ash percentage, waxes and impurities and microscopic characterization of such propolis. Various methods are applied to achieve, obtaining the organoleptic characterization of color, smell, taste and appearance, ash percentage, waxes and impurities differ according to place of origin, in both the microscopic characterization propolis also they showed different results according to the liquid used as a vehicle for suspension
