The role of NGOs in awareness of the Public Private Partnership in the Social Economy in Romania
Economic analysts of Romania launched in 2010 by Mediafax, one of the largest providers of general information and business in Romania, a news report that the financial crisis and global economic braking changed ranking of the largest economies in the world according gross domestic product (GDP) in dollars, and the recession has propelled China in the second position in the world at the expense of Germany and Japan. Through this paper we highlighted a few issues that characterize contemporary Romanian society and propose a new vision for overcoming the limitations of approaches to influence the global economic crisis. A first issue concerns the minimal impact it had in the Romanian economy to adopt the model that tended to be appropriated by the most developed countries of the world, namely knowledge-based competitiveness. Continuous innovation as the main engine of this model, brought a number of advantages but also huge risks. The second issue concerns the adoption in 2010 by the Romanian Parliament of the law 178/2010 on public-private partnerships. The immediate consequences of this law and was a good argument for initiating this study. Another issue concerns the social economy. Can it be made responsible for obtaining encouraging results from test "economic crisis"?social economy, NGOs, public-private partnership, PPP.

ROLE OF TRAINING IN THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY
Today we are witnessing an excessive introduction of nanotechnologies in our lives which brings a number of benefits, the elimination of communication barriers between people, freedom of movement to the acquisition by them of routine activities as well as the emergence of new needs would need continuous training to keep up with them and to reap the full benefits of potential. Division of labor and specialization in the entrepreneurs, the emergence and widespread quality standards, professionalism, teamwork, accountability are just some of the reasons that lead us to believe that, at present, although the activities are generated by individual needs, these cannot be satisfied entirely by a single entity called the individual, household, business or civil societyTraining, Public Services, eLearning, Knowledge Society
PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FROM ROMANIA IN THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY AND E-LEARNING

Public Services as Poles of Regional Competitiveness in Sustainable Development
During the last 2-3 decades regional competitiveness became one of the key concepts used in regional social-economical analysis. Another related term, competitiveness of an economical branch, economical sector or particular industry, is used as an indicator of great importance for the position of the products or services of a specific sector on a market which is more and more crowded. Taking into account the importance of the above mentioned terms, especially the importance granted to them by the Lisbon Agenda, and the fact that a bigger and bigger share of the Gross Domestic Product of a nation is achieved in the field of public services, this work tries to analyze the extent, at the level of the Romanian society, of the contribution of public services of general concern to the emergence and development of regional competitiveness poles, and also the way some services from the category mentioned could become themselves competitiveness poles at European and Romanian economy level.regional competitiveness; poles of competitiveness; public services of general concern.
The implications of institutional specificities on the income inequalities drivers in European Union
This paper aims to review the different impacts of income inequality drivers
on the Gini coefficient, depending on institutional specificities. In this
context, we divided the European Union member states in two clusters (the
cluster of member states with inclusive institutions / extractive institutions)
using the institutional pillar as a clustering criterion. In both cases, we
assesed the impact of income inequality drivers on Gini coefficient by using a
fixed effects model in order to examine the role and importance of the
institutions in the dynamics of income disparities. The models were estimated by
applying the Panel Estimated Generalized Least Squares (EGLS) method, this
being weighted by Cross-section weights option. The separate assessment of the
income inequality reactivity to the change in its determinants according to the
institutional criterion represents a new approach in this field of research and
the results show that the impact of moderating income inequality strategies is
limitedin the case of member states with extractive institutions.Comment: 18 page
The Economic and Social Effects of Unemployment in Romania
Unemployment is considered as a negative element of economic development that affects in varying proportions all countries, especially those underdeveloped and those in transitions to the market economy. This paper presents the "Economic and Social Effects of Unemployment in Romania", where we presented the unemployment in the contemporary world, its typology and its measurement, namely: the evolution of the number of unemployed, a rate of unemployment and its structure in Romania. Unemployment has become a problem, along with industrial development, since the second half of the 18th century, in times of recession, when industrial enterprises shrank their production and therefore released a large number of workers who became unemployed. In Romania, unemployment is partly due to the transformation of the structure of a national economy, according to the criterion of efficiency, in order to adapt to the competitive environment
Analysis of Fiscality and Economic Growth at EU Level
Purpose/objectives: What this article proposes is to make a presentation as clear and current as possible of the member states' taxation, direct and indirect taxation being the main categories to which we refer. The choice of the theme was motivated by our interest in discovering the effects of some decisions taken at the European level. It is desired to discover the way and the impact in which taxation influences economic growth in the European community. Design/methodology: Mix research technique has been used. While qualitative research entails in-depth literature readings and reports, quantitative analysis entails presenting data via graphs and tables. Findings: Taxation was and will remain a main component in the general economy that influences the good functioning of a system. Its effectiveness is conditioned by the legal regulations that each state designs individually, but not without the influence of the communities of which it is a part. For example, Romania was conditioned upon its entry into the European Union to modify its laws in order to be at the same level as the states in the Union. It is a laborious process that takes a long time and is constantly changing and improving. The process of designing and implementing these programs is tried to be carried out as easily as possible for each individual state, being individualized by economy, regional power, global impact, etc. The progress of each country entered in this sense is very important and is constantly monitored, and periodic reporting is very useful. Originality/value: The work is an original research work conducted by the researchers. The findings will add to the body of knowledge on the area of research funding in Romania. Possible practical implications: The completed project is addressed to those people who are interested in the fiscal side of an economy, especially understanding the process of economic growth, how difficult it is to reach a favorable situation at such a high level.. It can also represent a starting point for bachelor's, master's level studies, in order to broaden general knowledge, or even in-depth study for a final paper
The Role of Public Administration in Promoting Sustainable Development: A Case Study of Population Growth and Global Nutrition Interventions
This research paper aims to investigate the role of public administration in promoting sustainable development through a case study of global nutrition interventions and population growth. The study employs a case study approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by these issues, and to explore how public administration can effectively address them. The purpose of the research is to generate new insights and hypotheses that can inform theory and practice, as well as to provide practical recommendations for policymakers and practitioners. The methodology of the study involves an in-depth investigation of four different countries, each selected based on their distinct characteristics and challenges related to global nutrition interventions and population growth. Secondary sources of data are used to develop the case study, including reports, policy documents, and academic literature. The research objectives are to identify the key drivers and barriers to promoting sustainable development in each country, to evaluate the effectiveness of current public administration strategies, and to propose practical recommendations for enhancing policy and practice. The main findings of the study demonstrate the critical importance of effective public administration in promoting sustainable development, particularly in the context of global nutrition interventions and population growth. The case study highlights the need for coordinated and integrated policy approaches that engage a range of stakeholders, including government, civil society, and private sector actors. The study also highlights the importance of context-specific approaches that consider the unique characteristics and challenges of each country. The degree of novelty and originality of this research lies in its holistic and contextualized approach to exploring the role of public administration in promoting sustainable development. By using a case study approach, this research generates new insights and recommendations that can inform policy and practice in a practical and actionable way. The practical implications of this research are significant, as it provides a roadmap for policymakers and practitioners to effectively address the complex and multifaceted challenges posed by global nutrition interventions and population growth
